I lost my mind trying to get the retaining clips off. A few seconds with an angle grinder did the trick. Replaced them with a couple of snap rings which you can put on and take off with ease. Cotter pins would do the trick as well. My mini floorboards came with hardware, unlike Dean Speed which never does...
I installed the pistol grip pegs on my Chief Bobber and I absolutely love them. The quality and looks are on par. I thought about doing the floorboards but glad I didn't. My riding style is more aggressive, especially in the turns and I have yet to scrape. Good video btw!
Very nice! I'll look to get something like that once I get my new bike. 👍
I like them they look great on the bike good job.

Nice video. I'm surprised Dean Speed did not send C rings along with the pegs. Much easier to install. It is nice they are fully adjustable.
Hi there, when i replace the original pegs for the driver for a floorboards i installed a zegger ring that is more workable with other tools... another way is to install a screw with security nylon nut. Cheers from Chile!
they look pretty cool

What about a series of different garage door remote controls hidden in your bike somewhere?

I know a guy that hooked up his garage door remote to his motorcycle horn 😆

I just have MyQ on my phone app and use a Quad Lock on my bike bars. Makes opening the garage simple and fast.

Yep yep. I know all about MyQ
they aren't no M24 Bolt like my pegs but still
Those little clips are a pain. I had to use a knife as well to get them out. I do like those pegs tho.
You can get some snap ring pliers for less than $10 at the hardware store, they make it so much easier to get those little C clips off and on :) I've thought about getting those pegs or something similar but I tend to move my feet around on the pegs a lot. Is it still easy to maneuver your feet around on them?
@RickyBobber
Жыл бұрын
Yeah! Not hard to move at all. These aren't c clips though. Hard to see in the video but they're rings,. They are a full circle and then some

looks good but i think you need to go on up to floor boards on there.

They look weird on the bobber. Like Dumbo ears 😁
Do you know if they change the lean angle where the boards scrape befpre the pipe?

Good question. I don't know yet. I'll get back to you on that

@@RickyBobber Hey, Ricky! Any update on the lean angle?
it hurts my soul how you used that Benchmade

Dude , I was never impressed with this knife
Did you feel a difference in lean angle?
@RickyBobber

Honestly no. But these are shorter than stock. So in theory, it's more lean angle
Still like them ? Holding up ?
@RickyBobber

Yeah! Pretty good. Holding up real well
I would used anything other than a knife to get that ring off…maybe not an ice pick but anything other + obviously try to keep my other hand from harm’s way.

You don't have to use a knife. I think any one watching this is an adult and knows if they trust themselves with a knife or not. Also this knife is super dull. I probably couldn't draw blood if i tried. But I couldn't find a screwdriver. However, I still think the knife gets in there a little better than a screw driver woukd because it's so thin. But "Use a knife at your own risk" if I really need to say it.

I tried knives, exacto and others, I tried a couple of different picks to no avail. Finally just cut them off with an angle grinder.
Am i the only one who has a problem when you give it throttle the vibrations makes the pegs shake so much that they are making so much rattle noise when your foot is not on the pegs😅
@RickyBobber

I haven't had that problem. My bike doesn't vibrate that much. What kind of motorcycle?

@@RickyBobber yes. Indian scout bobber 1200cc 6gear. 2020 model. It's like the piece from the grips that goes into the "bike" is not wide enough. I've put the original rings back on the pin and they are snug. So it's not that. I'll try and make a video at some point. I got jekyll n hyde exhaust on. So it's not like it's to violent an exhaust to make the bike shake more then usual
