Martin & Sellers.....magnificent. We are SO lucky to have had such marvelous talent that we can look back on. (Thanks to KZread).

I always find the moment when Dean says "Some husbands don't call at all." funny. Because he's trying to feed a joke, and Peter is just like "No, I'm in control."

Peter was a member if the Goons. His improve was as good as it got! The Goons were a precursor to Monty Python. Peter could do comedy or drama at a genius level.

Peter Sellers is terrible well in a good way. He is my favorite icon and they sure don't make those TV shows and people like they used to.

Sellers was considered "washed-up" in the early 70's. That's why he had to make appearances like this. It wasn't until "The Return Of The Pink Panther" in 1975 that his career was revived and he became a bankable star again.

Yes was finished after his hippie pot era and then came back in 75 with the Pink Pather...on the rise til his death in 80.

They nearly did 'Kiss me Stupid' 1964 paired Peter and Dean, but Peter had a heart attack during filming - the producer was unwilling to wait for him to get better so recast and reshot his scenes.

I wonder how well the rest of the show aged. Some of the humour Sellers uses here was influenced by the great Spike Milligan. They worked together for many years at the start of their careers.
