It's like their breakup will remain a mystery, knowing this is supposed to be 1955, they don't look like they're about to strangle each other. Wether they hide it very well, or they weren't fighting as much as we're told they did.

Thanks for watching and commenting- we produced Jerry's 1996 A&E Biography™... Dean just got tired of the routine, and it had been 8 years, after all. But Dean and Jerry were still friends afterwards... that they didn't speak to each other again until the reunion by Sinatra on the '76 telethon is simply a myth... :) Here's our bio of Jerry... it was the best two years of my life making it... locked in an editing room with everything JERRY! :) Jerry Lewis... The Last American Clown

***** I'll watch your bio! thank you for responding. Glad to hear that it was myth and that they did keep talking to each other. And, I really envy you for being locked in an editing room with Jerry haha. :)

MadameMarge LALALALA! I was starting to turn into Zippy the Pinhead after 18 months of endless Jerry, 24 on 7... and it was totally addictive- I'd keep saying to myself, "OK, take a break and take a walk..." but wound up saying "Just one more Colgate Show, please?" :) I have a 1958 Eddie Fisher TV show where Jerry is guesting, and Dino shows up on stage, and they have a great time... so there ya go! :)

Marjory Well, this is clearly a big prestigious event, a Friars Club banquet. It’s probable that they were just putting on a ‘front’ for the public and all the important people in attendance.

Well think about it you can be angry with your close friend but you aren't necessarily on the edge of punching them 24/7 it's usually only when something related to the issue you have comes up or a similar transgression is made but you aren't angry at them all day everyday you can still enjoy being with them in between moments of anger. I had a friend like that once when they pissed me off and it seemed like we were fighting too much I began trying to end the friendship I tried doing it discreetly but then while we weren't fighting or pissing eachother off we had a great time together and a sort of pattern built of me trying to end the friendship not doing so getting more annoyed Everytime I tried and didn't till eventually we had one big blowout fight that ended the whole friendship for a long time. We weren't fighting constantly and when we weren't we still loved hanging around eachother I feel like that's probably how it was for Martin and Lewis.

Funny seeing Marilyn seated next to Eddie Fisher. In her movie, The Seven Year Itch, there is one scene where she is talking to someone and suddenly says, "You know. I got the biggest thing for Eddie Fisher." Perhaps it wasn't just a film line.

Indeed. We produced the '96 A&E bio of Jerry. :) We also produced the '99 bio of the Rat Pack- you can find both at the bio.com website.
