Setbacks is just brain goes to old anxious pathway, as we recovery we make new non anxious neuro connections. Its neuroplasticity. Brain slowly learns to act in new non anxious ways.

That’s why it’s so important to keep practicing. That’s what I remind myself every time I want to give up
Heyy y’all as setbacks im having tension headache for 4 days in a row now but that won’t stop me. Proof is that even tho im having these set backs i went to my nail technician today and got myself the nicest nails ever “thing that i wasn’t able to do before as i would have been too afraid to go there” but now i can do it without getting any palpitations or whatever i was getting before just take the setbacks easy put it under the anxiety umbrella and continue with your life 😍✨ Thank you Shaan may God bless you and your family and even your entire generation for every time you are helping someone out of it 🙏

oh yeah, going thru a very LONG setback now in these Covid, crazy times, and this is good to hear..Thank you Shaan. Bridget
Amazing video, thank you for sharing Shaan! Setbacks can be horrible, but you're right, they're just part of the healing process.
Great share Shaan! I've definitely dealt with those setbacks, and it's all about the mindset on coming back from them. Just like it's about the 'journey' in life, those setbacks are part of that recovery... Cheers!

Thanks for this, makes me feel like I’m not alone.
had a huge setback this morning. Feeling a bit better now and the video was useful
Thankyou so much shaan..God bless you for the work you are doing...for those who cant afford the mentorship these videos are jewels...
I made so much progress thanks to you shaan. I don't know how to thank you? Also I've had three major setbacks since the pst two months and the answer to get out of it still remains the same, you just have to be a lil stronger when u fall back down and keep doing what you did. Never give up guys. Live your lives, no matter what happens. It might get painful but don't allow your anxiety to control your life. Edit: I'm still having some very annoying symptoms but i don't care so much anymore and that's enough for me to continue :)

Don't laugh. Friend told me last year that his doc told him to make something with play dough. For him it worked to move his thought pattern from the fear to having to think about what movement his fingers needed to sculpt what he was doing. 6:31
I love your videos! Have you ever read HEALING AND RECOVERY by Dr. David Hawkins? He has the same approach. When feeling fear, he would say "Great! Another opportunity to let go of more of this!" Donna Eden's technic of "temporal tap" can help speed up the change in habitual thinking patterns.

@@DARKVISUALS-fs6jh i appreciate the response. its been a couple years since ive had significant anxiety. and so i feel very unprepared as i barely remember what feeling this anxious used to be like. today is better than yesterday, but i guess the fear of this lasting forever and having to start over, or the fear of the situation that lead to the setback happening again has really got me in a defensive on edge state. to be transparent i woke up hearing some droning noise in my head that was entirely in my head. and it only occurs when i wake up from sleep. so sleep is scaring me. and everything else is scaring me as this feels new again. sorry, i really vented there, but im hoping that talking about it will give me some clarity or help you and others find a way to relate. thanks for the response.
