Thank you for this. I am that patient that has a strong gag reflex. I have major issues just trying to get one tooth e x-rayed. I may be looking into dentures but my dentist is concerned that I will not be able to wear them for the above reasons. I am trying to find ways to de sensitize my gag nerve. 4 am and I came across your video.

I have a gloubis effect that I developed 20 years ago... I gag when I brush my beeth and don't even go near the back of my throat, it's mental. sedation is the way to go.

Hey how did you overcome it, i have the same problem

Salt on the tongue helps me quite a bit sometimes. I can’t even do xrays without gagging. Also its just mental and when I heave/gag prior, it helps me prepare for the procedure for some reason.

Ive been told you can give the patient lidocaine as mouthwash and it'll sleep the soft palate, reducing the gag reflex. Havent used it yet, just putting it out there

I've been to the dentis 2 times recently, but they said they cant help me because of my gag reflexes. My molars are acting tho what do i do im in pain

There's more way such as lifting the legs and setting and using numbing spray on the throat and squeeze the thumb

Where was the link to order the mini needles to stop gag reflex?

Have you heard of the products NO GAG? What do you think?
