I can really get defensive at times but I've learned to just be silent at times and really listen. I've asked questions to get an understand to my level but I have to pray for my husband because we are still working on how to not get defensive first in conversation/disagreements/arguments. Thanks for more teachable moments.

"Silently listen without being defensive." That's a deep point that I definitely need to work on.

I just learnt obviously that there’s no medal after an argument with your significant other. Why should I fight a battle that has no reward. No way . Not doing that again Lord help me

Your videos have been a blessing! I wanted to here the other 5 points in this video. Is there a part 2 somewhere? Also, will Not Just Roommates be available on Barnes and Nobles?

Here’s how conflict in our marriage works. If I shut my mouth and let her do what she wants then she won’t threaten me with divorce

If there’s a threat for divorce, take the initiative to invite her to professional counseling ASAP

Sean and Lanette I started counseling on my own. She joined later and was asked to stop going because of how she was. The counselor says she uses divorce to bully me into “getting in line” because she knows I don’t want to break up our family.
