    I agree, prices have gone from high to ridiculous. No wonder business has slowed down. Chevy needs to realize what is happening in the market and make appropriate adjustments. They are selling a lot of Trax, could it be the lower price????

    People don't understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments don't match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

    Having an investment advisor is the best way to go about the stock market right now. I was going solo, but it wasn't working. I've been in touch with an advisor for a while now, and just last year, I made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.

    I'm afraid a lot of folks are waiting for BYD's...basic model 15k -- but 30% tariff in place. Just a matter of time. Consumer demand will prevail. Current vehicles are just too expensive. You're not buying a car, your buying a loan is what the dealer sells.

    High confidence chrome I call it looks great and loved it on the boss' truck but not mine which I ran for him (Mack Class 8.) Definitely an option to keep the value resale high. Truck sales have slowed so good time to be premium buyer. Toyota has really opened up the entire market to basically everyone given their catastrophic choice of trying to sell $50,000 US Dollar 4 bangers for trucks and suvs but especially so GM, Ford, Jeep, Dodge and what's left of Chrysler.

    Travel for a few of your runs - either update New York or maybe Shenandoah National Park in VA. It’s a bit of a drive, but you can get some good elevation on nicely maintained trails. Closer to home, perhaps Delaware Water Gap, Mt. Minsi for example or Tammany. Good luck!

    ❤ your marathon challenge! If not mistaken ( 12 years since left NJ ) in the north there are pretty decent hilly parks ,however you have to adjust for trail running.

  • @vitaliyryabinin4786
    @vitaliyryabinin47862 ай бұрын

    I've done marathons including with elevation when my knee was still good. Elevation will kill your thighs. The best way to prepare is to find a short hill that is aggressively inclined and run sprints on it, both up and down. Down is needed for control - when your muscles get tired you do not want to slip and fall. Running downhill helps with that.

    That is today's GM. Today's buyer is a loyalist who has always bought GM and will never get anything else, no matter what, or someone who is unaware of the issues and hasn't done any research. It's sad because I have owned various GM vehicles for years and years. So many good ones. There's just nothing left for me today. So I switched to Toyotas. Watch out for that active cylinder management system in that 5.3...unless they have fixed that problem (I honestly don't know) that could cost you an engine down the road, potentially. It did for my dad in his Suburban at 150k.

    Dave, you’ll definitely need to get some heavy duty training in, especially since you’ll be coming up from sea level to more than a mile above sea level. I would say do some hiking in some of the hill areas out east; I say hills since our mountains here in Colorado are 14’ers. At least you have some time, but do get some good training in.

    Train for time instead of distance for your marathon. If you train for time, it puts your brain in that mode of how long it will take you to do that marathon. If you start estimating how long it will take you to do it and train for time on that distance, you’ll more than likely be successful for it. Also do a ton of endurance training on your legs, meaning tons of reps and light weight. And when I say tons, I mean like 200-300 reps divided equally in a certain amount of time. I got this from a Facebook group way back in 2016 called Conjugate Strong. I usually do powerlifting but when I started really adding a ton of reps for light weights after my heavy lifting, even a 3 mile walk that I rarely ever did wasn’t hard. I weigh 300 lbs and I’m 6’8” and my cardio is pretty darn good for my size. Did tons of personal training and some training for sports and I just like to give little tips here and there. Regardless, I hope you succeed and kick ass!

If the salesperson is busy or not there others at the dealership can fill in. The manager approves the price, the finance manager approves the payments ,, the salespeople just show the features . I guess I am an informed buyer before I enter the dealership and know what I want, the price I want etc. Most of the time the dealership want you to take the car ASAP with you.. I always go to the dealership were the car / color etc I want... I like to deal direct and don't mind driving up to. 100 miles to buy.

    Not sure who is buying these vehicles. I make 50k a year, 13k above the average American yearly wage, and I definitely couldn’t afford a 60k car/truck. Either people are spending more than they can afford (which is probably the reason) or it’s just the upper middle class buying all of them.

    the most important place to protect on new cars, GM does not. The threshold and the bottom of the drivers door. So many people get in and out of the vehicle from factory to dealership and by the time the customer gets it, there are scratches on the threshold from work boots with stones or just dirty shoes and the bottom of drivers door from everyone rubbing against it with their shoe when opening up the door and getting out. Why can't GM see this and protect those spots? Years ago they had carpet on bottom of doors to prevent the issue.
