Personally gold is much better option, It’s always a good option to keep some gold. Well with the current market situation and everything at stake with the present economy, I’d say you’re better off staying away from stocks fr awhile or better still reach out to an adviser for guidance.

I now only tip people with 90% silver coins--the ones who know what it is love it! the ones who dont get a 3min elevator pitch on silver :). it's up to us to help make gold and silver currency again. e.g. whenever I list something for sale I mention that I accept gold and silver as payment, if only to help drive awareness. some states are working on gold and silver legal tender laws. I swear I will be relocating to the first state that allows taxes to be paid in gold and silver.

@@workingrich8464 Yeah, that seems to be the pattern, alright. Problem is, it doesn't really solve anything. It's like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Not only will it happen here, it's already happened here a few times. The current FRNs are about the 4th or 5th iteration of currency here in the US. None of those changes mattered a bit in the long run, yet somehow it seems attractive to TPTB. Guess they don't know any more about money than a hog does opera.

If you listen carefully, he gave away some important information. If/when the silver (or gold) prices go up significantly the shops will close their doors. They would be stuck losing cash and the market would pause until buyers got used to the new price. Which means present holders would be sitting on a product they could NOT readily convert. You need currency but couldn't get any. That is concerning but VERY believable!

@@dmonty4354 This happened with a VERY reputable shop in Spokane, WA last week. Gold was on the "A-mark" site at 2320 something or so but the shop would only pay 2275 because they were gold heavy. Now today it's jumped to 2413. Don't need to cash any in at the moment but would be interesting to hear what they would pay.

The reason people are selling their silver and gold is because we bought it 4 years ago and nothing has happened to get it up to 3,000 an ounce like we were told. So of course there's 100 million of us out here that cannot afford gold and just silver and even silver we can hang on to because of what's going on in America right now. Might as well spend it because we'll probably die before it ever comes to fruition. Buy silver buy gold okay for all you rich people but what about us lower middle class or even lower class people like myself who is on social security and cannot pay their own bills can't hardly drive their car can't pay their insurance can't pay for food can't pay for medication. Yeah you're going to see a lot of people turning in their silver and gold but silver especially because that comes from people like me that don't have a lot of money to buy gold and now we can't even hang on to our silver because this has taken so long. I hope all you people out there making bundles on selling your gold and silver make out well because you're certainly hurting people like me.

All you can definitely lose just like I have because I'm on social security and I can only buy small quantities of silver but I bought that over 4 years ago and now because of what's going on I have to cash in my silver to meet my bills for food car gas insurance medical I could go on and on. I'd like to see a go down to $6 an ounce and then I can buy my silver back. As I didn't make any money on it in 4 years to tell you the truth. So 4 years of holding onto silver was BS for me. So are you rich people out there enjoy your wealth I hope you can take it with you.

I remember the 1980 buys. Crazy. I saw buckets of silver taken to a large U-Haul that was squatted down. I had one buyer tell me there were uncirculated Walkers, Morgans, etc. going through. $50 an ounce back then would he like $200+ now. I remember my Dad having a hard time holding onto a lot of his coins. They just exploded in value.

Buying some $100 bags of silver was what funded my stock investing when I was first starting to invest. I bought 3 $100 face bags of silver coins around $17.50 and sold them a few months later in 3 sales of $42, $44, and $46 an oz. Made a nice profit on them.

What you fail to understand is when silver skyrockets and breaks 100 and higher, the dollar and stock market will have crashed. No more comex. There will be a new currency eventually. And during that time I will be buying real estate with the silver. I will not cash any silver out…. Until a new currency is in place, and then only a little at a time😊

The new currency ? CBDC......I highly doubt we would ever see fiat currency again if that scenario occurs. Maybe one backed by gold but again, doubt that. The government in the midst of a currency collapse would have the perfect leverage for the CBDC. Ultimate power trip for them.

My dealer told me just this morning when I went to purchase more gold and silver that when the price of silver hits 36 dollar a ounce he will close his doors. He has no interest in getting into the mess that will cause him. At the current time he has stopped buying back any metals. He said he doesn't like the look of the future. He's elderly and just not into it anymore. Unfortunately, he is the closest dealer to me under 150 miles. Therefor, as of this morning I have made my last purchases of the metals. I'm moving on to something else.

That all sounds logical to me, but it doesn't discribe the real endgame "Weimar" Szenario. On the way to "Weimar" there will be a lot of Sellers, but in "Weimar" nobody would sell Silver for Reichsmark at any given Price...

I feel for the people who are having to sell their silver and gold to get by; whether it be property taxes, insurance, medical bills or food. All before the years of real trouble hits.

Your "Real Trouble" is different than Other People's "Real Trouble"...

Just makes sense that even if you have precious metals or gems or anything like that, they are only worth whatever you can get for it. And if nobody can pay what you want as they don't have that money available to them, then it becomes again, essentially, useless.

I think the most important thing to remember is not whether prices are going up or down. It's the ability to create momentum by unloading your stock, buying more, selling even more, until you feel comfortable with trading metals. Have at least 3 or 4 serious LCSs or people you can run to in the event of a serious SHTF event where you need to get all the money you can. I can now say that we officially live in a federal prison called Canada. Peace to all. Be safe out there.

Part of the answer is to stack SMART… PMs should never comprise more than about 25% of your total assets, stack only when you have zero non-mortgage debt, and you need to have a 3-6 month emergency fund (in cash).

Sure, then the price will come down a bit to find a market and fair value.

I've seen Silver climb up high multiple times in my lifetime. The government devalued silver both times. And gold came down with it.

The Chart shows a double top, and if It can't break resistance, then the chart[stock, commodity] will drop until it finds support.

The GOLD pattern is pretty straight forward. Goes up when the COMEX & LBMA is closed and then it goes down when the LBMA opens, then around 8-8:30AM it goes down a little more, then at ~10:00-11:00AM when the LBMA is closing, it goes down some more. Usually at that point, it will trade in a range. Then when both are closed, prices tend to go up. Rinse and repeat. No always like this but happens more often than it doesn't. Think about last month when prices jumped into the mid-$2100's. It was all after hours. Then, TPTB sold a shitload of paper gold to bring into what they consider a safe and manageable trend line.

Silver will not ever settle at its real value unless there is catastrophic financial event that wrests control from Comex. I have my stack in place and I am not buying or selling. I can't imagine a scenario where I will change that stance. I have it for insurance alone. Not for capital gain. I don't want any more fiat in place of my silver and I don't want any more silver. My silver can just sit and wait to see if a financial crash happens and at that time I will have to ponder what to do with it if anything at all. I don't care what spot is ever. Just that I have a stack of insurance.

I was just in my local coin/bullion shop and he had purchased a quantity of Krugerrand's. He offered them at $45 over spot to reduce his inventory. He said that he was not ready to wholesale them quite yet.

I saw it in 2010-4/2011......a lot of things came out of the woodwork and were sold as the metals slowly rose, but the bulls still outnumbered the bears. The FOMO fever was real and the shops (at the time there were 4 in my area, now there's 3) were constantly busy.

This is why I do not invest in such things. It's not about how high the price "could" go. It's about who is willing to pay it when I try to sell it. It the same problem with stocks. price vs volume.

This is the reason i try to deal primarily in 90% it's a recognisable asset to folks that don't know much about metals but you may be able to trade with just because of that..

I buy generic / gold and coin roll hunt for my 90% 👍 . I come from modest family with humble roots. The way I see it is I’m gathering some of that “old money”. Even though I didn’t inherit it I have access to it with a little work. Although it’s not too much work to be honest. Gets me out of the house , I meet people in my town and neighboring towns. And I get to meet other stackers. I will say most of my “competition”is older folks. And the younger crowd I speak to about it seems to think I’m doing something illegal lol

@@markanthony7546 It's hard to convince the young folks that silver and gold were used as money at one time in our history. It hasn't happened in their lifetime, so it's not quite real to them. As an official member of The Old Fart's Club, I used silver coins as a boy back in the late 1950s and mid-1960s. By that time, silver coins were being hoarded, so there wasn't as much of it around. Roll hunting was still good then, as it took a while for the silver to be recovered from those coin rolls at the banks. Some still do that today but the pickings are mighty slim now.

I think that by the time PMs will be priced sky high, the hard ships of the life will have shaken out all properties out of most people. Including PMs as some of the first.

So stacking gold/silver is basically not worth the trouble. Gotcha.

When SHTF no one buys silver or gold!

In Venezuela 1us dollar was worth 3 bolivars when hyperinflation kicked in 1oz silver was worth 8.8 million bolivars and 1oz gold was worth 8 billion bolivars ... 1oz gold.bought you a house! Think that can't happen in USA in hyperinflation?

Silver goes up and this sparks a mass selling of personal silver and that causes silver to go down. It’s simple supply and demand. Except the market is highly manipulated.

Wait a minute . . . Is Tim saying that if gold prices go a lot higher that local coin shops will shut down? That’s very unnerving

Yea, no kidding.

I’m new to stacking and my greatest fear is not being able to sell when I want to. Premiums are pretty high compared to buy back and you might not be able to sell anything at $40/50/100 per oz. Has me wondering if I should keep going. All the metal in the world is worthless if you can’t sell it/ trade with it. Junk may be useless too. Tapping the breaks a little

Could be a plan the fed has when the dollar collapses they manipulate the price extremely high finally 🎉😂 effectively making it worthless as it won’t move. Biggest burn would be not allowing it to be sold ect with the new currency they release without huge taxes or other costs to it 😮😢

That's not a real reliable source.

That is what I have been saying in my videos. When you see new highs , you have fewer buyers. Same for gold . Believe Tim . He has been there. Thanks Yankee for the video because people here won't believe me .

This has been my concern. These bullion dealers that you purchase from I've been purchasing from the same one JM bullion for 5 years and they say you can sell it back to them for a fee of course. But what happens when the price skyrockets and everybody wants to sell their gold or silver back to them are they going to have enough to cover all those customers

Itll be worth more to brics countries, these dealers buy from you at a discount and then sell to brics, brics is after all the most likely reason pm will skyrocket

Whether it goes up or down I won't give up on stacking silver Most people doesn't have any patience I have some silver that I have had for over a year but I am biding my time silver will level out eventually at a decent price giving up is not the answer but everyone is free to do what they want

I have 12 years and still impatient LOL but you don't buy to invest but you buy to maintain that store of value into the future. Another words you don't buy to GET RICH but it is great for STAYING RICH or silver rich for that matter.

I got some gold and silver I bought back in 1994. Got several oz of gold . Got them for practically nothing.. I've held on to them for hard times. Haven't hit that hard time yet but with this administration anything is possible..

I have 1000’s of ozs. From 47 years ago. And I have Bought and Sold Percentages of those ozs. Over the years. Each time multiplying my holdings 4 to 5 times. This will be my final point of the deals I’ve done. I won’t re-invest in metal. And I will never sell into this failing currency. I am currently waiting for a 20 to 1 Gold / Silver Ratio. Don’t tell me it will not happen as it has already happened in our Past.

The difficult consequences of what happens when PM prices explode is the reason I keep larger denomination bars in storage (for easy sale and swap with the storage provider) and why I keep 1 oz silver coins at home. Who knows, your buyer may be your neighbours when the time comes . I invested in a sigma precious metals verifier a while back for the same reason (to give my eventual buyer confidence in a private sale if need be). We are prepping for truly disruptive times. We got to have all sort of off ramps and plans ready. This was an important discussion in today's video. Thank you!

Great subject again. My plan IF silver jumps $15-$20, is to sell 20% of my stack. Reason: Make my overall average-cost to drop..😊 Besides you won't know if it's like the past increases or the new norm. I will never sell my gold, no matter the increase. That's my nursing home insurance policy....IF the rapture hasn't occupied. ❤🙏 Love Tim's business philosophy on answering the phone and overall interaction with his customers.

I dont understand his argument. Why would he shut his doors when silver went up? Why does the price matter when you are dealing?

@@UndergroundLookingUp I stumbled upon 2 meteorites by total mistake! I have a couple of videos on my channel. The 1st meteorite i found i traded to the jewelry store for 80 oz of 999 silver bars! The 2nd meteorite I found i still have. I find them lakes rivers or wide open flat spaces. This seem to be where the meteorites hang out. I recently found another Stoney meteorite but I didn't make a video for that one. Maybe I'll make a video of the new Meteorite I found! I have 2 in my collection now! So far I have a iron meteorite & Stoney meteorite. I really want to find a pallasite meteorite! Use your maps. It takes along time but it works! Look for odd circle patterns. They will be very hard to see but if you use this method you will definitely find one!
