Poor old Derrick, he was a nice as well. I hope he has been blessed in other ways

I actually remember watching this game when it originally aired, and whilst it was good viewing (and truthfully pretty funny) to watch this car crash of a game, the way Derek takes it all with such good faith makes me feel so bad for him. Especially when you consider some of the rude, greedy and ungrateful contestants who have walked away with tens of thousands.

I feel sooo bad for that man. He was so unlucky. But he took it all in stride. Not too many people could do that.

At least Derek kept smiling and took it with good humour, unlike all the crybabies on the wings.

To me, he actually looks like an unlucky guy.

Bit stupid everytime a red was going out of the game they were clapping 🙄
