Really glad you're showing Deadside some love. Absolutely fantastic game. Been playing since the very early days. Really good to see the fast travel and vehicles. You'll see lootable crates in military POIs, obviously where all the best gear is too. You definitely need to go in with a bit of a plan. There's also 3rd person view so you can peep over fences for a bit of an advantage. Would love to see more of this. Military POIs and a bit of trading. Think you must have stumbled into a mission area too. Would be good to see more of that. P.s. easiest way to get for and drink is at the traders.

You describe the game as absolutely fantastic. I describe it as, 'alright with potential'. We're miles apart. Just wondering what adjectives you use to describe really good games if you're already up to "absolutely fantastic" on this mess. Maybe this genre over the years has really lowered your standards? Like being lost at sea for a week, being rescued and your first real meal is a stale piece of bread and a can of vienna sausages. An "Absolutely fantastic" meal.

The base building is actually important later on as your safe zone storage isn’t really that big. Raiding is also well done in this game

Two safe zones with plenty of storage for what you need. I have 600k in each and weapons and body armour. What else do you need lol

@@TransitionedToAShark I agree as a solo player I don't need a base. I will build a little shack to store unimportant items but why run the risk of getting raided? For what its worth I've build bases here on deadside yet I've never build bases on SCUM or DayZ simply because I found the base building on those games too hardcore and grindlike. Deadside is definitely more casual friendly and provided me with 100x more action and fun than the alternative games.

@Darryl Smith: Could you elaborate how the raiding works now? I played when bases couldn't be raided. Back then there were talks about bringing an active raiding system where if you die you drop a key and they could potentially only raid you then if your online. How does the raiding work? I have recently played a couple of hours but mainly loot, store and pvp. I didn't even bother with building a base at all

@@bloodwolf9428 they drop a pill. It lets you see on map where base is and you can throw bombs at walls to breach it.

As to your wild life and easy campfire ask. These are in the game. There are ducks at the tall reeds on the rivers. Also campfires are super easy to craft, cut a bush with a knife then craft a campfire

I don’t know what this is, but I’m excited for Glock content!

Dead side really is just ArmA 2 Dayz mod epoch with no zombies really cool concept just needs a lot of work still I think

Also if you keep your food and drink >50 you get passive health regen

already imagining the hate for safe-zone campers taking out the loot carrying refuge seekers

I love this game and nice to see people covering it's development. A huge tip for looting and searching is to be pressing TAB in side of rooms and making sure you're set to GROUND in the sub menu. This will show you any and all loot available to picking up in a 2-3 foot radius of you and is helpful for not missing items to pick up.

Yes, and another survival game I really enjoy (no zombies but still very fun and difficult) Subsistence. If you like grinding that’s your game as it takes a good while & effort to base build and craft/upgrade.

The buildings look exactly like dayz lol

Sounds a lot like Arma3 Epoch or Exile mods without the base building.

U can also build bases in deadside. Not as simple as let's say 7dtd or rust it's more like dayz base building but very doable. I have a base on pve server just to hunt ai.

If 7dtd airdrops were like these...👌. I like this one, definitely would watch more

This is the game I've been waiting for tbh, dayz mixed with tarkov. They should definitely add some wildlife, and IMO, buildable safe zones.

I have issues with Bots in this game. People say thye are afraid of Bots more than actual players. Cuz damn things SEE you through bushes and other similar things. And they only fire if they know bullet can penetrate the obstacle. But god help you if you find yourself in a firefight in the forest with Bots.

this game really reminds me of that one overhyped title that is very very identical to this idea, it was called next day: survival, it followed the same idea's and i liked it but ultimately the game was left to die. i just hope that this game won't follow that trend and actually puts through with it.

I have like 500 hrs on DayZ, and recently have adquire S.C.U.M and it's like a DayZ on steroids, but this looks cool too, probably i'll snap it up the next time

I think for awhile this needs to be your once a week f around and find out game. This is one that I would be waiting for the new dead side video but it's not structured enough to run as a dedicated series like 7 days.
