The shot at 4:31 is taken from the comics. Wolverine gets mind controlled and ends up killing all of the X-men. The giant stone pillars are monuments/headstones to the dead X-men. It makes sense since at the beginning, the bar owner says he isn’t welcome there, could be referring to him killing the X-men.

The villain in this movie is Cassandra Nova, evil twin sister of Charles Xavier... now at 2:01, you can see a villain lineups in front of ant-man's skull/helmet, what i do recognize is Lady Deathstrike, Azazel, i can't make the others but from other comments, some say Calisto, Toad, Sabertooth, Pyro... Edit: also at the end of the portal, it seems they edited out the portal so that we don't see the area they going through....if you watched dr. strange and avengers movies. the portals casted shows the area they are going through... from the updated Wikipedia, character mutants that are added and metioned that are coming back are Toad, Sabertooth, Pyro, Lady Deathstrike, Azazel...also Jennifer Garner as Elektra will also reprise her role, Chris Hemsworth appears as Thor through repurposed archival footage from Avengers: Infinity War

They also looked like the transports that housed the Sentinels, from Days of Future Past. So, maybe the Sentinels wiped out the X-Men.

So, guys, the portal we saw at the end could be, Dr. Strange, Wong, Ned or America Chavez. Remember from MOM that Dr. Strange's portals do not go between universes, only America Chavez has that ability. It did not look like a TVA portal we'd seen before. Hyped. Great reaction, guys. And yeah, this is a Wolverine from a different universe. Wade has been searching for the right one for his mission. The hot rod is Red Skull's hot rod from Capt America 1st Avg. It is also similar to one Tony was working on at his house in Iron Man. Did you notice Alioth at the end and in the middle of the trailer?

Wolfy sitting in the beginning gave me chills good see Hugh my childhood Wolverine Back 🙌

As others have stated, the villain is Cassandra Nova (which, seriously missed opportunity in giving her that name and not making her a raving nymphomaniac). The evil alien "twin" of Charles Xavier, whom he originally killed in the womb, but she somehow comes back later because comic books mostly suck. What everyone seems to have missed, is that in this context, she killed Charles, and that fucked up the Sacred Timeline, so the "past" TVA pruned her. That's why she's in the void with the others, using Ant-Man's giant head (and presumably the rest of his body) as a base of operations. We know this is the case because Wolvie and DP are jumping into the sorcerer's portal from Ant-Man's eye socket. And when the angle flips to behind them, we see Alioth in the background coming towards them. For the dummies...that means Ant-Man's head is in the wasteland. Sure...it could be ANOTHER identical Ant-Man corpse...or it could've been pruned sometime AFTER Cassandra Nova started using it as a base...but if you think either of those are logically plausible, you're deranged. It's extremely likely that all of the wasteland scenes take place in the Void. Odds are also high that Cassie's base in Ant-Man's head still exists because she's powerful enough to keep Alioth away...but not powerful enough to get out. And that's what the TVA is now hoping to prevent. Since Loki changed the very nature of the TVA and how time works at all, she MIGHT have a way out of that place, now. So, the TVA sends two guys she can't kill. They might not be able to beat her, but since she can't kill them, all she can ever do is keep fighting them...forever. The TVA itself doesn't have anyone who can fight her, and they can't risk sending someone more powerful who might then get loose in the multiverse and wreak even more havoc. So, they hedged their bets and just sent two guys who can never die.

This movie is everything I've ever wanted!! I work in marketing for a liquor distributor, and one of our brands is Aviation Gin (the one Ryan sponsors), and I basically had to beg my team to get themed marketing material for this movie 😒 None of them had seen Deadpool, and I was like YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BIG THIS IS AND WHAT IT COULD DO FOR OUR SALES YOU MONSTERS!! Needless to say, they finally listened and I can't wait to get my Deadpool themed cocktail shaker 🤣

This is a masterpiece of a trailer. and deadpools ability to break the fourth wall and say what we are all thinking, really hammers it home.

It's save to assume that this trailer was heavily altered, same like No Way Home back then, to not give away too many surprises. The most obvious one being the portal Wade and Logan jump into. Usually, we can see right through it. Have high hopes that this will live up to the hype.

Yes back in late 2022 when Hugh and Ryan first announced that Hugh was returning for Wolverine they made sure to state that what they're doing is not touching what happened in Logan at all, it's completely separate. So basically yes Hugh "returned" to play Wolverine technically but just not in the way he used to be Wolverine, he's playing a completely different Wolverine from what we've know before

We see his mutant abilities activate after he witnessed his father's death in 1845 in the 2009, Wolverine Origins movie. The opening sequence that follows shows Wolverine and his half-brother Sabretooth fighting side-by-side in the American Civil War, WWI, WWII, and the Vietnam War; that alone shows the passage of 114 years! I don't know what year this movie is supposed to take place in but the prime timeline in the MCU is around 2026. If this movie takes place in 2026, Wolverine would be 194 years old in this movie! 7:16 I might be mistaken, but I think this is an N64 Golden Eye reference, unlimited ammo. 8:27 That would be Cassandra Nova. In the comics, she's Professor Xavier's evil twin sister. This being the MCU and a Multiverse story, Cassandra Nova will probably end up being a variant of Charles, in the same way, Gwen Stacy is a Spider-Man variant and Sylvie is a variant of Loki. Charles could take over the world if he wanted to, but that's not his MO. His evil twin however, well, let's just say she's one crazy @$$ B!+

That's the beauty of bringing the TVA into the mix. Disney can basically take any part of the previous films and remake it the way they want it. Just call it an alternate timeline and prune it. Pretty genius, actually.

Just seeing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine again brought a smile to my face.

this is a combination of two comic stories. One is old man logan, where the villains won, and heroes either became one or died, wolverine was broken unable to die, the post apocalyptic world shown. Highly recommend reading it, its dark but has great story telling. The other is Cassandra Nova Xavier's twin sister who he killed in the womb, but in a few stories survived and is the more powerful evil one.

The thing about Wolverine is that according to the prequel that Ryan Reynolds was even a star in Wolverine was well well over 40 by the time the first X-Men happens. I can't remember the movie fully but I think Wolverine is either over 100 years old or close to 100 years old. Not sure. You can correct me on that if you like. I just remember scenes where he fought in several major historical wars.

I can't confirm this but I heard Ryan has wanted this for years and someone kept saying no, I forget if it was Hugh or some higher up, and finally this got green lit. The movie Logan was Hugh's way of saying no more movies, so I wonder how Ryan convinced him otherwise, probably just their friendship was enough to wear him down

If you guys watch the first trailer, which is the teaser, towards the end you'll see deadpool in the ground and wolverine coming to him right. But if you noticed in the left side of the frame, you'll see a small packaging of a bottle which is the same bottle from "thr incredible hulk movie" which I'm when Stanley blood drops fell in. So we might see edward Norton hulk!!

The car was the Red Skull's car from Captain America. EDIT: The motorcycles might be Ghost Rider motorcycles. In Old Man Logan, there was a biker gang who all had motorcycles from former Ghost Riders, which gave them Ghost Rider powers.

Appleton vibing to Madonna wasn't something I knew I needed in my life.

Days of future past they changed their fate from the sentinels to Xavier. Xavier started to decline in health and in the movie Logan when they escape from the casino the radio is broadcasting what happened at the casino was very similar to the mansions accident and it stated that it killed a lot of mutants. Now Logan had the burden to not tell Xavier and to take care of him in his last years.

This film is going be PEAK LETS FUCKING GO!!!

It’s confirmed multiple wolverines, multiple actors playing wolverine, and all of Deadpool’s Deadpool team, so the dog is cannon, there’s gonna be a female Deadpool (played by Ryon Reynolds wife, that bald chick is professor X’s sister. And that’s not just ant man, that’s his whole body. They are using it as a base. There’s also several X-men characters from X1-X3 and first class showing up. That’s also the red skulls car
