The first scene in the trailer immediately made me flashback hard to the beginning of the first x-movie when Logan and Rogue meets in the bar, including the claws coming out involuntarily at the beginning and so not coming out fully.

This gives me Old Man Logan vibes. You have a town in the skeletal remains of Ant-Man, while in the comic you had Pym Falls which was a town built in the remains of Hank Pym 's Giant Man. We are told that this Wolverine failed his world and we see him in a flash back collapsing by a load of graves , in Old Man Logan, Wolverine was tricked by Mysterio into killing all the X-Men on the night when all the world's Super Villains teamed up and killed or maimed all the Heroes and took over the world. Not sure how this will be done in the film as I don't know if they can use Mysterio or not. Also in the Old Man Logan comic, Logan gave up the name Wolverine and swore never to use his claws again, the whole "Whiskey Dick for Claws" thing could have been Logan catching himself just in time from using his claws. Ofc in the comments people would have pointed out the cameos, like Dogpool, Azazel, Lady Deathstrike, Toad, ect.

Hugh Jackman is 55. I’m the same age and have been working out for over 30 years and to get in that shape at his age…amazing (even if he’s had some…help 💉)
