I prefer the twitcher designs in the original dead space. The armor really depersonalizes them. The ones in the original game were some of the most horrific looking things and the way they moved made them so unsettling to watch.

That first minute of the Intro where you can hear the RIG Soldiers get torn apart outside of Gabe and the other two is such a strong intro. We **know** what they’re shooting at, and we **know** that these are trained soldiers as well, and the amount of fear, horror, and bleakness you can hear in that Intro alone is absolutely stellar. This is probably the most damning lacking aspect of 3: not any particular gameplay mechanics or storyline-wise, but the complete lack of both top notch Audio design, and that Raw Human Feeling that was overly present in the first 2 games.

I feel In dead space 3 they make issac a super hero rather then a survivor like in the other two games. The first two dead space games was about Isaac surviving. Dead space 3 should’ve been a horror game and have a story line like aliens where they send in dead space the military stage a coup against earth gov because they’re putting the world at risk of the markers. Isaac could’ve just been called in as a advisor to assist But instead we get a love triangle of Isaac and Ellie and a bunch of inexperienced scientists and only a few soldiers.

Not really,Sam Caldwell was killed by Nathan McNeil and his crew,Nathan McNeil was the one that succumbed to his wounds and turned into a Necromorph,and Gabe Weller was killed because of Bartlett shutting off the grenade and losing alot if blood during the process

I love how the environments in the dead space series are all grimey and industrial looking as opposed to how a lot of developers feel the need to make every surface all shiny and mirror polished. This is so much more atmospheric, here the environments themselves tell a story instead of just showing off some fancy new engines lighting and texturing.

Jesus 2 minutes and I love this guy to death! His stoic voice lets you know he's ready to get shit done.

I don’t know who has more bad luck in the series. Isaac Clarke for being followed by an abusive dead girlfriend and seeing spooky marker images or Lexine for having every person she ever loved dying.

I wish this DLC was longer than two chapters. It ends just as the action starts to pick up. Then they throw a big middle finger to the fans of Extraction (and Gabe's hot self) by killing Gabe off. :( Good video though.

marko 557p If she stayed in a safe room then she would of died when The Sprawl blew up when the reactor reached critical. She was on a space ship so I think she likely escaped The Sprawl all together.

1) Thanks for uploading. This way people like me who play on PC get to see the parts of the game that were never released for that platform. 2) I "enjoyed" playing through Dead Space 1 & 2. But still, you have to admit that the series is not known for its subtlety.

XD 36:30 makes me laugh so damn hard the person playing this was scared you could tell.

Anyone else marvel at how lightly to unarmed, unarmored civilians manage to get into or through some of these areas without being geeked in these games? Mad scientists, wives, pilots, and the like seem to get through these areas easier than you do as Gabe or Isaac!?!! I forgot the unhinged psych patients as well..... As an aside. Just Imagine "John McClane" in these situations. lol

If there’s one thing I would love. Is an entire halo-reach style team, but they’re all sprawl security trying to make it out. The fact that security is getting overwhelmed and they were dropping like flies, is a really grim thought. The constant panicking over comms, because some unknown threat is destroying your men. To be the only one to fight these living nightmares, would be over coming the word fear.

in all my years of playing DEAD SPACE there was only one thing i have never played, the 2 player areas you can only reach in CO-OP mode of DS3. but now there's two in my bucket list. in all honesty i never knew this DLC existed till now. i only watched the first few seconds and skipped to the sad End though. but thank you for this. Damn i am so Hyped up for Dead Space 4 if it ever happens.

This wasn't on the PC version of DS2 so I didn't even know it existed until now.

Gabe, Isaac, Carver are the best protagonist on Dead Space, perhaps i want to see John Carver back story before his Dead Space 3 run, he was also a soldier that survive the incident did by leader of the unitologist and antagonist of DS3

Ending is kind of similar to that of Dead Space Downfall's. Interesting.

Quite interesting what could happen to Lexine. But we'll never know. Extraction and Severe were the best game prequels to DS franchise (actually., only DSE was, while DS2S is dlc like).

Frankly, I didn't understand why he didn't get into the shuttle at the end, just because a hand grenade exploded next to him. The suit should have protected him from such a small explosion. But then, of course, the ending wouldn't have been so dramatic.

I was always confused when severed takes place. Does it take place before the events of what Isaac did or after? Because when he makes it to the hospital everything that took place in DS2 happened, but it looks like the outbreak literally just started which doesn’t make any sense. When we play as Isaac the outbreak panic was dying down and we were just going through the aftermath of it. But here it feels like the outbreak just started because it didn’t reach the hospital in the beginning. I’m just really confused when this takes place exactly.

Gabe is easily the coolest character in the series

To the people that are sad because gabe is dead, don't worry theres still hope. On the Ishimura in dead space 1 lurkers are made from baby like biomass which was used to regrow limbs of those who lost them. It's possible that they got gabes body and just regrew his limbs.

man thay gabe guy appeared two games and survived two times but sadly he died like hero than isaac wish gabe continued more such a waste character and would made sooo much sense he comes back in dead space 3 and both isaac and gabe both either you play gabe or isaac characters went through alot and survived from necromorphs it made sense as co-op i really love this guy!

EarthGov should have really just listened to Issac and ceased construction of all Markers being built across space. Colonize outer space, mine it, whatever. Just DON'T build and activate those Markers! Especially after listening to what Issac told them, back in the beginning of this game. So many lives would have been saved. Nostalgia!

And so the nightmare continues...😱
