Thank you Mark for the shout out! Didn't expect you going to make a video about that. This powder works great for me so hopefully it helps to grow the green walls in your tanks as well. Looks like most of your tanks have a green walls already but DSP should help to maintain the green so they don't fade away over time.

Thank you Leonid for sending the package its really appreciated some have green walls but they dont last, fingers crossed dead shrimp powder fixes the issue :)

@@MarksShrimpTanks Yes they should last as long as you dose the powder. Also it's better to move the powder into an airtight jar and add some extra silica gel pack it will last for a few years otherwise it will absorb moisture and spoil quickly.

Where can I get some?

All this is to expensive for me lol, I just add sone normal fish flakes once a week for protein and my homemade spinach/duckweed, spirulina powder, or pea shrimp food

Hey Mark, I did water changes today with RO water and shrimp salt. I have two shrimp tanks. The tds in one was 132 and the other was over 200. I did agitate the substrate of the 200 one, so should I do another water change tomorrow? I'M STRESSING OUT

Joined your fb group earlier but I dont tend to post on fb I prefer youtube. So, I have blue dreams, red cherries, yellows, oranges, blacks and armanos with bristle nosed plecos, long fin mountain minnows, albino and peppered corys, tetras and a pair of loaches in community tanks for good measure.

I've used it for the last 4 months green walls are nuts!!

Dsp is some good stuff. But seems to be mostly yeast ...

Is DSP more for breeding With it to help speed growing the shrimp alittle quicker

Hello mate, its know for making biofim which shrimp mostly eat so yes it will help them grow.

Hi, Mark. I need your cooperation. About a year ago, I did setup a tank for breeding caridina shrimps. Cause I didn't have access to ADA, Benibachi, or Shirakura soil, I chose the Dennerle brand and, failed. I'm pretty sure the reason I failed is just using this soil. Now, I have access to ADA soil. What do you think about using a top filter, securing its entrance with a sponge and pouring the ADA soil into the top filter and passing water over the soil and bringing the pH level to the ideal state? Meanwhile, the use of bacteria, within seven days, to neutralize the releasing of ammonia through the ADA soil.

The soil wont last if you do this, remember its just a backed substrate but it will disintegrate if you pass flow over it like you suggested, I take it you mean adding it into a hang on back filter?

Very good so far, if you feed to much you get loads of fluffy algae so its easy to know when to cut back, the other thing is if you have snails in the tanks they will eat the green walls eventually so I dont aim for that anymore I just like plant growth and baby shrimp.
