He had issues that damaged his health from a reaction to a lip injection and he had to have reconstructive surgery and numerous health issues occurred from his immune system attacking the chemical lip filler. Don't assume anything when you haven't got a clue what you are talking about.

He was unique with a beautiful voice and a unique music and creative style. Will always love and remember him❤

Pete should have been bigger than he was. Truly an icon and great singer too. RIP.

Thing is, he didn’t really want to be in the spotlight, the band had the chances to tour and perform on the big stages yet they never did since they didn’t feel like that’s where they belong. Though it is quite sad cause Dead or Alive would’ve deff gotten more recognition if they performed for bigger crowds, not just known for their “one hit wonder”.

I love this powerful and beautiful song and him singing this song.

I loved Pete. He really didn’t give a damn and people should take heed about individuality and uniqueness. Everyone looks the same these days, especially the young girls. He perhaps went too far with surgery-he looked amazing here. He went far too young and got into debt, but he had a good heart, said what he believed in and never changed. Rest in pride Pete 🌈

i was always amazed by DEAD OR ALIVE when they first came out in the states in the eighties, and always had to have any thing they would put out since i was drawn by their creativity and art., since he has past i am consumed by his music and videos . This song is a real gem the music puts you in a real feel good mood. PETE BURNS was a real artist and performer . thanks for the great music and memories , RIP!!

Right now I'm 24. I really see my own life changing A LOT in a few months, even days. I have never felt so alone in my life, believe me. But this songs really make me feel a real warmth in my heart. Also, I love Japan and it's culture! You are really ahead of time! Hahahaha

Total Stranger is from their Japanese album, Fan The Flame. This particular remix is from their Unhappy Birthday single. Can probably get either version from ebay.

0:42 to 0:57 I'd like for that bit to be put in a loop or someone to make a song using just that melody. I think Pete looked gorgeous here no need to continue with surgery.

It might have been the pinnacle that these places could reach by shaping. Who else wanted to do so far? And he ended up ruining it. He was like a splendid red apple full of additives. A dangerous spirit, an extreme personality, a beautiful but unusual appearance, a violent way of life. He was a wounded but unforgettable person.

Yes, Pete lost his lovely locks mostly and started using wigs. He has spoken about his wigs on many occasion.
