So sorry for your loss….a family never ever gets over it, you just learn to deal with the whole in your heart that it has left. I think you're right. As I was listening I pictured they somehow held him by his feet from a truck bed and dragged him. They probably beat on him as he's dragging which would explain extensive brusing all over the body. Not to mention, he only had shoes on. Therefore he was being held by something above the ankles. They probably slowed to ditch him when he stopped resisting. Anyways, that's what I pictured as I was listening.

Girl nobody held him and beat him while being dragged ? Do you know how ignorant you sound thatd be really hard to do from a moving vehicle they tied his feet legs to the back of the vehicle and drug him with his torso head being drug on the ground thats where all the bruises came from and thats why his head was caved in and fingertips shredded he was trying to claw at the ground he did not have to be physically beaten by someone to obtain those bruises he would have gotten those from being drug anyone being drug on concrete from a vehicle would have extensive bruising and similar injuries and the dragging would also explain the road rash he had

in another interview apparently she said she spoke to some of the kids that were there but one boys story was changing and multiple other people were having slightly different stories. definitely smells like foul play and that the partygoers have the answers

It could be that he was tied to the vehicle by his feet based on the kind of injuries he had, and that shoes were the only thing he had left of his clothing. Remember the horrible James Byrd case in 1998, where some Texas WS yokels dragged an innocent grandfather to death behind their pickup? He was dragged by his ankles and suffered horribly before his body hit a culvert and seperated his head and arm from his body. This boys torn fingers were likely from him trying to grab anything to stop. WTF is going on in Oklahoma? I loved that state when I was a kid and we visited my pastor relatives who lived on a lake. That was long ago, when being a christian meant being kind and following the teachings of Jesus. My cousin and her husband were both pastors of a little country church that helped feed and clothe people, no matter their race.

He was Tall and MEGA handsome. I KNOW some guys were MEGA jealous of him. So incredibly sad 😞

I think it’s multiple people involved in his murder and they were at that party. Some kids think they are so cool, to torture and bully a promising young man. This happens a lot when groups of kids gang up on one individual. I think that’s what happened here.

He’s clearly a conservative, who loves his country. This sounds like a few other kids totally tortured him. The injuries, sounds like he was hanging out of a vehicle, but hanging on for dear life, the injuries to his fingers….did they cut his fingers to make him let go? This is just horrific! Whoever did this to him should be held responsible and put in jail because they are a menace to society!

The mindset of a monster that is capable of doing this to another human being, should not be allowed to remain on this Earth.

Could he have fallen off that way unable to get back up or fell out face first and was strapped in somehow or his feet were stuck on something in the bed of truck and driver was unaware until it was too late? Perhaps they were all drunk and scared to report it? Hard to fathom by the injuries that this wasn’t intentional. I hope the true story is revealed for the sake of the family. @@michellem7300 Except for the road rash on his hip, ALL of the trauma was above his waist. So it makes perfect sense that there would be bruising. . . How NOT? If he slipped off the back of the car and his shoe got hung up on the bumper, he would scrabble with his fingertips to get a purchase on the road's surface. Who knows what roadside rock he was finally bounced against that caved in his skull? We don't know how fast the car was going or how far he was dragged. We don't know whether the other kids stopped almost immediately or got almost home before they realized that they had lost their surfer. They might very well have just gone to bed to sleep it off, never knowing that they left a dead body in their wake.

This is horrible. The pain he went through, the pain the family is going through.

Who said he was a lovely young man tho? Just because he's the victim of a murder doesn't mean he was a good person. I never understood this logic of making dead people suddenly look like angels even if they were not. I'm not saying he was a terrible person because I don't know him but I'm just saying that a victim can also be a terrible person. Being a victim doesn't make you a good person instantly. If I judge solely on the videos of him and with his friends shown in this report, he looks like the typical frat bully douche kind of guy. Its very difficult to have someone stripped of thier clothes unless they were held at gun point or already caught naked. A handsome individual such as him had likely gained a females attention. Interview the females again. Sounds like foul play over something very personal.

I buried my son in 2002. The person guilty got away with it. Truly….heartbreaking. When will this stop? He was my only child. RIP Michael. You are missed each day. ❤️ We are from small town in Indiana. Where the poor have no chance. The woman was connected as she married into family with money. No small town justice. It must stop! It's entirely possible that "one human" DIDN'T do it to another. The injuries are consistent with those associated with car surfing. Somebody knows something, for sure, but that doesn't mean they're guilty of murder.

Horrible and disgusting to treat him like this. I cannot imagine the pain and suffering by those responsible looked on as he was killed! I honestly cannot understand having an open casket either. Images last in one’s mind and it sure would have been kinder to let him rest with it closed. I have not been to a funeral home in decades. For the fact that it’s hard for me to see my loved one or someone else’s loved one to be on display. My heart hurts and grieves with the family and friends of this young man. The unimaginable pain of losing a child, I can barely even begin to comprehend. But to have them go through something this barbaric as well, I don't think I would be able to function and carry on.
