Yes, great actor, great reader, such a pleasant voice. In his days with David Suchet and the Poirot series I used to think he had the face of a mediaeval knight!

Nothing helps me sleep better than listening to story. I love this voice and the story, but the ads are so intrusive I have to find something else 🙁

I’ve seen other videos without ads meant to induce sleep, but they’re sounds or meditations that don’t keep my mind from wandering. I didn’t sleep last night until 4am and had to get up at 7:30 so I hope tonight will be better. Meanwhile the selections, production, and the readings on this site are top notch - thank you so much!

This was really good but was ruined for me by adds every five minutes,,,very irritating…

This story is an expanded version an Agatha Christie short story called "The Second Gong". I thought I'd heard it before!
