Been waiting for this one. I grew up here and even worked at the Electronics Boutique in this mall for several years in the late 90s, early 2000s.

I miss Woolworth. Especially like the ones that had the blue sign. Most of em were red if I recall but I do remember seeing some blue ones as a kid in the 80s.

Looks like a great place, nice and clean. It will hopefully find a way to survive. I can't imagine not being to go and get something to eat and wonder around all the different shops for something to do. Not to mention, running into people you know and chatting. Great video!!

Always enjoy your videos, everytime I hear the 80s synth wave music I have memories of playing Space Ace and Dragon's Lair in mall arcades in 82 83 timeframe

This is our local mall so, it was cool to see it back in the day. We’re excited to see the upper valley mall now too 👍

My aunt lived in Lakewood and we would go every year. I remember the eatery at Woolworth too! Always loved that mall! We got groceries at the super duper. Ate at the one bar in town but can’t remember the name of it. Good memories! She loved on Fairmount Ave right on the lake.

Dude...this is your best video yet. You can tell there was an emotional attachment to this place for you. I LOVED the photos fading to modern day. That was really cool and the music you used was perfect for it. Rock on!

Wow the intro really got me 😢. Malls here in ohio are shutting down and lots being taken by Amazon Giant Distribution Centers. I live on the Western Cleveland Region and i never been to Springfield Ohio. I grew up on the Springfield Massachusetts region. The mall that holds dear memories for me is the Ingleside Holyoke Mall in Holyoke Massachusetts. Its Sad what times did to malls and now with this pandemic it obliterate them completely. Even open malls center are struggling. BTW my Name is also Anthony, Anthony C. Awesome video

Really liked the intro to this video, with the pictures of the mall from then to now. I especially loved seeing the Woolworth! One of my closest malls also had a Woolworth back in the early 90's when I was little. I was into collecting buttons back then, and that's where I remember getting a lot of additions to my collection. So seeing that old Woolworth definitely brought back great memories. :) Sorry your mall is struggling. It's always painful to see a place you've loved going to since childhood struggle in modern times. :( It was and still is a nice looking place, though. Hope it's able to turn around!
