You know what, I retract my previous statement about late Atreyu and you. I was listening to Atreyu on shuffle and you can definitely feel the heart in your lyrics. Everything you've done in your career is an inspiration to me. I'm like Brandon in that I play drums and do vocals but I wasn't gifted with a clean voice. I can scream and growl with the best of them. Definitely changed my life the first time I listened to Atreyu.

Having both clean and screams was one hell of a deal... Like two totally differnt sides of the same coin.... The older stuff was FUCK YOU METAL... and I dont think that Alex was utilized the right way for exes and ohs ... Etc.... They just dont hit you in the fucking face the same way... "My heart is dead and so are you" cold fucking chills man. On a LOOP

That vocal effect when the vocals first come in, on top of the instrumentals + Alex' voice sounds absolutely insane. BANGER of a song, instant playlist

This is my favorite song of the singles so far. I've been a fan since 2004 & it was sad news on your latest leave of Atreyu in 2020 but, then news started surfacing of Dead Icarus. Every now & then for the past 2 years I've been trying to see where's Alex. Then I came across an interview video with Joshua Toomey & man that part when you said that you just thought about never coming back that really hit me bro. I'm glad you never gave up & I'm glad your back ❤

Glad I went to the Atreyu anniversary tour show here in Austin before they broke up but I have to say.. I thought I liked your previous project I am war but I am digging this new venture for sure

Man I fucking luv this track. I was gonna try and not compare the new atreyu and this but got damn hot biscuits when you listen to this then the new atreyu you can’t help but think what’s missing from it…. It’s missing this kinda emotion and energy I like the new atreyu but I fucking LOVE Dead Icarus. I’m glad Alex is finding his own way doing what he loves and brining us the heavy hitters!

Man.. this is so fucking good. I knew something was up with Atreyu, Long Live was their last HALF DECENT album in my opinion. Happy that members from two of my favorite bands are putting out bangers like this. There really isn't too many bands that are sticking to Metalcore, Unearth and AILD are two for sure. That pinch harmonic is so good too. Is there going to be a full album ? Or is it just EP ?
