New Killer: The Savior/Saviour (The Other Dude / The Demon) Ability - Flames of Cleansing _Molotovs, while dangerous, are great for lighting things on fire and burning disease from souls._ Hold right click to ready a molotov, slowing The Dude's walkspeed while he does so. Holding right click longer allows for the molotov to be thrown further. Upon releasing right click, The Savior throws a molotov. Thrown Molotovs will block lockers and generators from being interacted with, and destroy breakable doors and pallets if thrown directly at them. If a Survivor is hit by a molotov, they scream out in pain and gain the "Burning" status effect, which acts as a version of the Deep Wounds effect. Survivors have 15 seconds to put themselves out (represented by a timer next to their profile) or they will lose a health state. If a survivor is being chased, this timer goes down half as slow. Putting yourself out takes 3 seconds and can be done while moving (albeit at the cost of slowing the survivor down while they perform the action). Survivors lose the "Burning" effect upon entering the dying state. The Savior can carry up to 4 molotovs. Through the use of Add-Ons, The Savior can carry up to two additional molotovs, injure survivors upon hitting them with a molotov, set fire to vault locations or create a pool of fire to deny survivors going somewhere. "You must be freezing, let me warm you up." - The Savior Perks: Defiant to Madness _Everyone may be crazy, but you can cure them of this affliction yourself._ Whenever you are stunned or blinded, Defiant to Madness activates. Upon putting a survivor in the dying state, Defiant to Madness gives all non-Healthy survivors the broken status effect for 30/45/60 seconds. The perk then deactivates. "In the end, our subject displays all the classic symptoms of a paranoid delusional." - Unknown Psychologist. Release of Tension _Things haven't been the greatest for you. If only other people understood._ Every time you damage a survivor with a lunge attack, all survivors healing or repairing are hit with a Difficult Skill Check. Gain a 5% Haste Bonus for 10 seconds for every skill check missed this way. Release of Tension then goes on cooldown for 70/60/50 seconds. "I could really kill for a massage right now." - The Savior Nothing After The End _Your job is a thankless job... I think if this does happen, if you select him in a game where Postal is Blacklisted, he should say "What, you don't sell Postal?".

I dig it!! Just think going for a more rugged look would be nice, closer to the box art image rather than a new design, longer hair, red sweater etc. Absolutely adore the fact he uses a scythe, like he's that fucked up and believes he's genuinely death

honestly at least according to the story he doesnt believe hes death, nor is he some macho badass man, according to the story he believes hes a victim and that hes in constant danger, the reason he goes on a rampage is partially out of spite for people but in a large degree out of fear for his own safety, paranoid schizophrenia really i wish they made the dudes personality in the game itself consistend with the dudes personality in the story, thats my only complaint about redux really (other than the ending, where i definitely preferred the original postals ending)

I love how P2 is confused is just here because he is and P1 is already out for blood.

Postal Dude from Postal 1 is a perfect Killer. Postal 2 is a parody regarding censorship for violent video games. Postal 1 is a horror game where you play the monster. The Dude would be an amazing killer, and it be interesting to see a killer use actual guns and molotovs.

I would love to see Postal 2 Dude and Zach Ward’s Postal Dude as survivors going up against the killer Postal 1 dude

A nice detail for P1 Dude as a Killer would be that from his POV the Survivors would look like some kind of zombies or insane people infected with a disease like he thought was the case in his diary entries.

Postal dude as the killer and Cash from manhunt as a survivor would be fucking perfect. PERFECT

Looks great, but I feel it slightly misses the point with Postal 1 Dude. He's not totally aware of what's going on: The alternate journals make it clear that he's a broken, sick man that is genuinely trying to save everyone "uninfected", with no understanding of what's actually happening. He's basically the serious version of the TF2 Pyro. Though Postal 2 Dude just being chill, seemingly with no idea why he's there, is perfect.

The execution Animation should be the redux ground finishers We would also need the city for the gritty atmospheric setting of Postal

I love how much attention was put into this, the map, the sounds, a power, perks, and add-ons. I was hoping for detailing on the names/effects of all these other things put in the video just for my own interest. Just for fun, I'll fill in those blanks down below since I constantly babble about hypothetical killers/perks with friends on the regular. ----Power The Earth is Hungry: Hold RMB to prepare a concoction to throw, once the item is ready, release the RMB to throw a Molotov at your target. Molotov's will scatter a small pool of fire around the designated area for five seconds, survivors caught in the flames will begin burning. Burning will act as mending, injuring the survivor and providing them something similar to the mending bar, that will continuously tick down, regardless on if the survivor is or is not in chase. While a survivor is burning, they receive a 150% sprint burst, leave no blood trails, and require 20 seconds in order to be downed by the flames with a 6 second mending time. ----Perks in clockwise order Running with Scissors: "You've been approaching decisions with a haphazard attitude, but not one without intent and great amounts of enthusiasm." Gain 15% haste at the beginning of a match for 30 seconds, but render yourself Oblivious to aura reading effects until the 30 seconds are up. Additionally, get 10% haste for 10 seconds every time a generator is completed. Lastly, gain a permanent 5% haste boost once the gates are powered. Feed The Earth: "Your interests go beyond just one person, it's for all of mankind." Every survivor that has been hooked at least once is considered your obsession, after hooking your obsession, have the auras of all other healthy obsessions revealed to you. Dual Personality: "Sometimes you question your own decisions, one day you revel in the pain of others, another day you question the madness of the world you share with them, and you just do not know why." Whenever you hit your obsession, another player at random is selected to become the obsession, so long as your former obsession is injured and not in chase, you get the ability to see blood and scratch marks of your new obsession more prominently and recover from successful swings against them 20% faster than normal. Regret Nothing: "When you're at the end of your rope, your pride is all you have, might as well go down swinging." Once the exit gates are powered, your obsession is revealed when not within 8 meters of you, in addition you gain a 7% haste while in chase with your obsession. When you hit your obsession, they are given mending, each consecutive hit on a mending survivor will remove 25% of the progress, additionally allowing you to clean your weapon 50% faster. ----Add-ons War Journal (Purple): "Sometimes, violence is necessary for a needed outcome." Survivors who are burning no longer require to pat out their flames, but still receive 6 seconds of 150% movement speed after being injured by your Molotov's and still not leave blood during that time. Survivors who have been injured by your flames will have a 30% non-altruistic action penalty until healed, even after being healed the survivor's injuries will linger and issue a 10% non-altruistic action penalty until they are injured again. (I'm having a hard time understanding the item in the Iridescent image, so I will say it's a singular crystal for the Dude's "health pipe") Iridescent Crystal: "Like a rock in an oil spill, but it burns all the same. You're not sure what it is, but it makes you feel a lot better." When you throw a Molotov, the splash radius is 70% larger than usual and the flames burn twice as long. When a survivor is set on fire, they scream and render themselves Oblivious to your presence until they can pat out their flames, while survivors pat themselves out their aura is revealed to you.

I felt lazy to make perks and addons descriptions. Your descriptions are actually good addition. The red addon is backpack. Simply increases the amount of Molotov bottles carried at the same time.

@@Tuchimo Ah okay. It didn't seem like there was a quantity aside from one, so it just seemed like an infinite amount of tosses, which is fine in my eyes due to the long deploy, small radius, and somewhat short burn time.

The Mori animation was so well done.

I think having Postal 1 guy as a killer is just so fantastic. It reminds me a lot of Good Guy, a thing you always thought would never happen, and then it does.

I feel like instead of a scythe he should be the first killer with no basic attack, instead it's swapped out with an actual gun but it acts like The Tricksters power, you have to hit them multiple times to do damage.

This is the single most comedic murder I’ve ever seen!

An idea I had was that P1 is the killer with Psycho and NotImportant skins and P2 is the survivor running from his past with Eternal Damnation, P2:Xmas, P3, and P4 skins.

see you can tell this was made by a true fan of dead by daylight. 0:53 you face away from the direction of movement, a tactic i've seen DBD players do to fool survivors into thinking you are heading a different way since from their view they can see which direction your facing from a red vision cone.

New killer: The Dude

İf dead by daylight adds this, im buying the game

It'd be fraggin neat to have the P2 Dude light humself on fire like you can do in Postal

This is a fantastic idea for a killer. He would never be added though because fire is a environmental effect and dbd devs scream at the concept of adding anything that dosen't fit riddigly into a perk, a killer or a buyable cosmetic. Remember when they tried to add breakable walls, potentially vastly increasing the games map health...then proceeded to never use them properly again and they became jsut filler justifications for busted loops and windows instead of being used to actually open up new pathways or create interesting dead ends. If he got added. I could see him ended up getting a power more in line with him using multiple items. The interesting way to do that would be him actually collecting items with limited uses around the map that give different effects/ benefits. But dbd would probably do it some sort of boring way. Most likely with a sluggish, annoying cooldown and a forced "cycle through" effect much.
