They have no choice to live, and there we are shown the men who work, but there are also children. Rich countries don't give a shit about it, but it will come right back to them like when China woke up and became one or the first world economic power.

@@ASh-hj3it I didn't say anything arguing that. I told the other commenter that these people probably don't have the option to go see a doctor, because of their country's condition. That said, you can't just "tough out" lead poisoning, but my point was that these people don't have the option to either have proper protective gear or to have medical checkups. I hope countries like mine start helping countries like this so that people don't have to suffer lead poisoning to feed their families. It's sad and preventable. Stay safe friend, peace and love.

It depends on what type of acid they are dumping down the drain. Lead acid batteries use sulfuric acid, which is also used in drain cleaners. It shouldn't be an issue dumping it down the drain as long as they dilute it, and if they do it only occasionally. If they dump acid every day, then that's a problem, they should neutralize it before dumping it.

I find it funny how a lot just comment on how unsafe boiling lead and its fumes are, how they should go to the doctor to get checked. People forget that in many countries, especially third world ones. Safety and healthcare is a damn luxury. It's not a necessity, not a right. They are luxuries. At the very least, be respectful when looking at their practices, because it's those very same practices that lets people in the first worlds to even afford the bills to show up at the doctor for a fever.
