I got this CD in the mail the other day. It was worth the wait. This is a strong debut album, plus, it's produced by the girls. Great sound. They're grabbing up fans from all over Europe and into the US. If they can impress Cheryl Crow, she might get them into the US on a tour backing her or someone else with clout over here. Also, they need enough money to reissue all their work in physical form. It would sell.

You gals are really starting to crank them out now. Gonna see if Rick Beato might like to listen to this. Too much of the music today sucks. This, doesn't.

@@matthewmutchman6360 I've been involved in music my entire life. My cousin has produced over 100 platinum albums. Too many artists today lack originality, use too many effects, and have no idea how to keep surprise in their music. They need to do better. These gals have- All I'm saying.

Love the Immigrant Song inspiration on this track. I need to do back to back comparison with the original Orlaith and Mollie version, but I think I like this version better.

The lyrics in the original version were considerably different but the song had a similar feeling . Both versions are awesome but I think the reworked version has the edge . I've only seen them doing the original version live once and that was in their short session in the barber shop .

@@groover5524 I agree, I like the new version better. Were you ever lucky enough to see the music video of the original? It’s long gone now but it was Mollie and Orlaith in the wilderness being pursued by hooded figures. They were both probably barely 16 at the time.

@@VinE83656 Yes I saw it when it was briefly available . It was very entertaining and showed off the girls personalities . I think they were still at school and the ' extras ' were some of their schoolfriend's . The song was great even then .

🤔…..fantastic! Been a fan since your busking days with little sis. Hope she’s doing well. Sure hope ya’ll stay genuine - organic. Don’t let the music industry push you in directions you don’t want to go. And stay “real” - don’t give in to the temptation (or industry demands) that you use AutoTune / Voice Pitch-correction. You don’t need it. You are amazing on your own merits.

Interesting arrangement & fine playing, as usual. But, the lead vocals could use less echo & reverb to keep the lyrics understandable. Using those effects on the harmony vocals is fine.
