Pro tip for removing decal residue: Use Naptha (aka Lighter Fluid).. It works really well.. It dries very quickly, so for stubborn adhesive, I soak a paper towel in the fluid, the rest it on residue (tape if necessary).. In about 2-3 minutes it will come off fairly easily with just a thumb/finger...

I'm extremely happy with the content of the video, very valuable task to learn to do well and excellent production as always.

I used for cleaning of the car the stickers residue by some spray for cleaning carburetors - it cleans the glue as a charm with no damage for the car/bike body.

You really should upload more often the videos are great!

Hahaha! Italian stallion! WD40 does a good job on old glue. My Ducati916 from the launch year had AGIP stickers on the sides of the fairing. It was soooo cool.

Should use soapy water when applying the new sticker. Makes the job much easier.

It does and it doesn’t in my experience. It’s messier and can be a pain to squeegee the soap out and get it to tack without the sticker shifting. For larger stickers yes but something this size that I can carefully peel back a few times I prefer a dry application.

That’s not an easy task, I think you did amazingly well, I’ve seen some people heat up the surface again before applying the decals- you should still be proud! And a lovely lovely piece of Italian art there :)

Nice video, Only one thing is that you should use a Hairdryer for the stickers after application.

When you do your APC spray and rinse on the lower portions of the vehicles what dilution level do you use? I have meguiars citrus plus apc, super clean, and purple power degreaser. I am a bit hesitant to see which dilution is safe. Also, love your videos man!

have you ever experimented with WD-40 for adhesive that's difficult to get off? i've had success - not sure if there are any effect long term using WD-40 on plastic.

Oh this was PAIN to watch. Mr Guru - advise for You: spray some soapy water on the sticker (on the glue side), spray the panel, put the sticker, place it super precise as You want. Then use squeegee or credit card wrapped with MF cloth, press and squeeze out the water starting from center. This method is super safe for stickers and gives You full control over placement. Cheers! I did consider it but it takes ages to tack in a cool environment like this in my experience plus it makes a mess. For bigger stickers yes, definitely.

Not too much soapy water. Half a drop of soap in a spray bottle of water is more than enough. I would also leave the paper on while squeezing out the water and peel off after.
