The summary is that Italy's contribution to Football World can't be matched and underrated. Italian players, coaches, technicians, directors, and even player's agent add to football more than any other nation did by far. Unfair to compare Pirlo deep playmaker to Iniesta or Zidane who're Play maker (behind the strikers) To give him what he deserves, Pirlo alone should be compared to Espain entire circle trio, Xavi, Busquets, and Xavi Alonso! Then Pirlo weights more. The man was genius, he is quilty of eradicating the number 10 play makers and the main reason why we don't see long distance shoots like we saw before Pirlo made slow the pase and controlled the temper. BTW, Pep was inspired to invent Tiki Taka by the young Pirlo dominating the field alongside the one of the all time greatest Roberto Baggio. True fact, you cannot be neutral when it comes to Italian football, either wise sick lover or caught victim to the Media brainwashing.
