Probably it was his family seats maybe due ramadan they stayed at home for iftar, because he sat in the family&friends and wags section.

While the pyro's/tifo can be insane there, this game shows that Feyenoord can make an amazing atmosphere without them. What a night it was.

A tifo was planned and even finished before we got notified by the UEFA mafia saying they wouldn't allow it because it was deemed "too aggressive". Which is bs because there was nothing especially aggressive on it and they didn't specify what exactly was the problem. A shame because a lot of work went into it.. But whatever, we won anyways!

To the people wondering about the blow up toys, in the Europa League match vs Roma in 2015, the fans brought some of them too but mainly bananas from sponsor Chiquitta actually for a 'Bring Back the Bananas' thing (google it, some club used those blow up hammer too). Now, you can say a lot about our fans and the number of people just there to mess stuff up, it's not a racist club. That night, one of the bananas ended up on the pitch. Turpin, the referee (the whole of our country hates him for not just that match, but many Dutch club/national matches were screwed over by him), ran to the banana, picked it up, ran pass like 3 black Feyenoord players and to Gervinho, being the first black Roma player around. It caused us to have fans banned the next game. So, the amount of blow up props is just a reference to that, you will not see many of those normally. Ask any Ajax fan whether they think the banana was meant racist and even they well tell you it simply wasn't. Of course it's good to go against racism, but this was explained and UEFA still didn't believe it. Maybe they ought to look at Italy first when it comes to racism and football. We have other issues (violence) in our country.

I am swedish and have loved Feyenoord since I was a kid. Feels good to support a club with some of the most fanatic and loyal fans in the world. It's also very nice Feyenoord has a tradition of swedish players at the club over the past decades. Let's hope it doesn't die out.

The reason why the chairs where shaking is because the whole studium is built out of metal, and the second ring is hanging over the first, so it bounces when you jump on it. You can’t built stadiums like this anymore because of safety problems. The round design also is unique, it’s the first studium with that shape, beautiful stadium, and the best fans in the Netherlands, maybe even in Europe or in the whole world❤️🤍🖤

Beautiful report, mate. Especially the Rotterdam sites that you showed in the beginning. The destruction of the center of Rotterdam in WW2 will never be forgotten and you showed Rotterdam in a nice, positive way. Even for me as an Amsterdam guy: heart warming. And being an Ajax fan, I was happy to see Feyenoord beat Roma and hope they will go through. Feyenoord is one of the classic football clubs in NL with a great history and great bunch of fans, as long as they don't throw stuff on the pitch.

It was a good game to watch. Roma was a bit unlucky with 2 key players getting injured midgame & the ball who didnt went over the line for about 5cm. On the other hand, we missed a penalty & just made pretty dumb mistakes. Imo a 0-0 (or even the 1:0 for feyenoord) or a 1:1.. is a fair result. Both sides could do better i guess. In the olimpico roma is always very strong in int. competition games. 1:0 lead is 0% safe result😁! .. im just a bit scared of dybalas and abrahams injury, without them i doubt the quality of our att... i hope they can play the 2nd leg. Cool game, nice fans & i welcome all dutch fans in rome! Pls dont destroy our fountains this time😅 & enjoy the atmosphere! May the better team win. Forza roma & respect feyenoord👌❤️

Great achievement. I realy hope they will finish it in Italy, but in all honesty, it will be a very tough thing to do. Roma played a very good game creating numerous chances to score. They were a little unlucky with it. So next week will probably be a real thriller, Roma pushing and Feyenoord with high pressure, ball conquering and fast breaking to the Roma goal. If luck is on feyenoords side combined with a first class game they absolutely have a chance. One more thing, Mourinho is an absolute class coach, just like Slot.

you should have been today in stadio olimpico my friend. the shitty de kuip is nothing compared to what happened today in ROME.

Nice that you and Josh visited another great match of my team. You speak Dutch very well.... ;-) All those balloon thingies were done to avoid another ban by UEFA and also because of the incident s in the match against Ajax the week before where the pyro was insane but things turned ugly later. And yes, we have some English songs and chants as well. Love it when the whole stadium sings you'll never walk alone showing their scarfs. Within a few weeks we hopefully win the league and you should visit then on the north side behind the goal. Feyenoord, a way of life.
