The bit that really hits me at the end is the "I swore I'd never be back, but now I'm back on my feet..." After years of being away from comedy due to his mental health, he ends up returning at a time when it feels most difficult to create comedy. The irony is painful.

As much as I love people reacting to/discovering Bo Burnham, I feel bad that they digest the songs individually when the special was such a masterpiece and really should be consumed in its entirety. I'm glad that you got to experience this! :)

The only problem is that KZread is set up so you *can't* do 2-hour reaction videos. In other words, you either get to see them react to one song at a time, or you don't get to see them react to it at all. I prefer the former over the latter.

I think that's generally true for any "Fandom"for lack of a better word. If you had the full context of any artist, director, actor, group, etc. you would have a greater appreciation. This certainly holds true for Bo's work and I always encourage looking further. My only point is that sometimes small videos like this is what it takes to get more people to check out the whole thing, even if the content creators don't end up reviewing it. If one Bo song doesn't interest you enough to check out his body of work, nothing will lol. Don't want to sound negative so I'll end positively. Keep watching what you love and definitely check out more Bo Burnham and especially in full!

I'm SO happy that you guys have decided to react to the whole special!!! I knew you'd love it. I've watched the special, without exaggeration, at least 20 times since it first came out and know it by heart. Bo Burnham is a straight up comedic and musical genius (a word I do not use lightly). Great reaction!!!

It's absolutely wild to go from an older Bo video to a newer one - it feels like we're looking at a completely different person...because we kinda are. It's got me in the feels in a weird sorta way.

He did that all on his own quarantined it’s so deep too but just the technique alone. The lighting singing everything all in his own. Live essentially. It’s one of the greatest comedy specials ever created but also works of art.

The production of this special is outstanding and adds sooo much more to the songs. The replayability is great for this alone, always spotting little things that added to the experience and being wowwed every time

I love the Disney vibe achieved from that line "from a white guy like mee?" :P
