    Very nice! In my top 3 favorite De Bethunes too. They should reintroduce this or similar design, with that linear calendar layout upgraded to an annual or perpetual. Increasing the size of the display windows would help too. And wow! Most of the commenters here really don’t seem to like it!

    Watch needs a seconds hand. Can't tell if it's working or not--or when the minute dial will move.

    Exactly. You have to look at the watch "in the metal" to see if you can even read it without optical assistance.

    @t_mosso didn't mention this having an annual or perpetual calendar so maybe PPs claim is for first inline perpetual in a wristwatch. The MIH watch has an inline annual calendar since 2005
