    Hey Ape, the signal looked pretty noisy. Was that from the generator or the Hantek? For the price, it wasn't that bad. Still very usable. Thanks for the review.

    Other than making filters, Gear like this and a scope also open up many other rabbit holes you can go down with building your own electronics such as logic design and amplifiers

    Does anyone know how to use the Duty % function, after I selected square wave I adjusted the duty cycle to 80% from 50%, but the Duty cycle remains at 50% when viewing the selected square wave. ?

    Can you combine both outputs together into a bnc-T adapter to have both signals coming out of one output? The answer to this question mystifies Google... nobody knows.

    None of mine have audio out but I have a few spectrum analyzers that you can plug headphones into to hear the signal.

    Very cool. I like the form factor of that case, even if it is just a place to stash stuff. Good review, now get crackin on making some arbitrary waveforms!

    years ago Antenna Specialist sold a small tone gen just for searching out repeater pl tones. will this do that? or is AS still around?

    Can this generator output an AM modulated signal, say 600Khz w/ 1Khz Mod? For aligning antique AM radios.

    I didn’t test this exact thing but yes, I believe so. I gave the generator to a buddy so I can’t test it for you.

    It is a waveform generator, it is used to make test signals at different frequencies to test audio and RF equipment.

    The amplitude adjustment goes down to .000 volts in .001 volt increments. I connected it to a scope to verify and while the scope shows a lot of noise, I can definitely see a sine wave take shape going from .000 to .001 with greater definition as I increase the amplitude.

    It can generate waveforms are different frequency and power levels, it’s used in electronics testing 👍

    The ability to have a dual-channel signal that is sync'ed gives you a lot of ability to generate complex output...could be very useful for filter examinations, rig testing, etc. Great video! If you are not familiar with Tony Albus on YT, you'd like his work a lot. Try to match his enthusiasm, LOL! 73 de K4FMH

    I would spend 80.00 more and pick up a good used hp or other function generator. Not this cheap chinese crap. Just wasting your money.
