-DCUO Base Design- Episode 167: FortressOfFunk by Snowdrift

Hello everyone! Apologies for the late tour upload this week but I wanted to showcase my base in the new Fortress theme that was released for the Superman Event Celebration. I had just finished minor adjustments before uploading this video to my channel :)
So a brief history of this toon......it's the FortressOfFunk because prior to the name reclaim this character was named FunkyFunke. I managed to get the name Snowdrift for him but just haven't bothered to dream up a new name for his base yet. This lair theme is still buggy but I just worked around them by excluding / adjusting decorations in certain spots.
The entrance is like the communication nexus of the base. It's lined with various terminals along the walls for us to work with. Display screens to converse with various others....and why Mr. Freeze? He's a misunderstood villain who just wants to cool the planet and combat climate change. The cityscape in the middle is meant to be one giant holographic display used for visuals of whatever we are checking on.
I then head outside to a Fortress of Solitude model, complete with an aggravated Doomsday and easter egg decorations in the model. The uppper section is Supes, with the arctic (yes, north pole. No penguins there) landscape as a backdrop and the entrance to the main portion of my base.
The main room has a teleporter for the non-fliers, the holographic T-Rex cause it's a badass hologram, a Superman themed henge, my armories, some random talking head and my lab. Lairs are almost never big enough so the lab is equipped with a drilling doing it's thing.
The last room is the heart of the fortress. It has the reactor and a sunstone safety wall. The wall would expand to block off the rest of the base if there are any issues with the reactor, and letting it vent out the window.
So yea. This is my FortressOfFunk.

Amazing!!!!!!! Can’t get most of that until till survival mode but the fortress u built outside is crazy!! Hope u don’t mind but I wanna make one in mine,lol what pieces did u use?? U need to make a list of pieces and where to grab them,lol

The pieces? For the fos model? Its all from Cheetah and the sunstone decor pack that comes with the purchase of the fortress lair theme. Sunstone crystal masses, shards, small lamps, the small legacy statue and sunstone crystal slabs :)
Name of that back style you wear in the vid? Is it a back style or an accessory?

It's an aura actually. Killer Frosts Cold Shoulder is the name of it.

bought this base only to see my armories dont work as intended. Waste of money. 3 weeks without a fix...

The armories not displaying the mannequins can happen in any lair. It isn't a new bug that only started happening when the fortress theme was released.

@@kinglyatticus not sure what to say...if you measure a lair theme based off if the mannequins display on the armories...to me its a non-factor in the base overall. I have seen a LOT of bases where this bug happens over the years. Do I hold it against the builders if the armories are bugged? No, I don't.
