Hi deephack, really enjoying these AV-8B tutorials! Your content is clear and easy to follow. I was wondering if accompany notes of the procedures would also help in assisting users - a short checklist of sorts as I know this module gets much more complicated. I'm struggling this minute with the JDAM's. One question which I've not tested but will holding the pickle button definitely change the drop from CCIP to CCRP on appraoch without actually dropping bombs seeing as you're holding pickle? Keep up the great work!

Could be a fun idea to make materials to go along with these videos. I'll have a think about that. Yes, just to confirm that as long as your CCIP cross is below the bottom of the HUD and in dashed symbology holding the pickle button will switch to a CCRP delivery and not immediately drop the bombs. If you are worried about messing it up though the second way of doing this is to tap the pickle button and then press uncage to manually switch to CCRP.

Can you do a quick video on fusing options and weapons loads setup? Can you only arm at an airfield? You channel is terrific for the "explanation, demonstration" part of "explanation, demonstration and practical application." Thank you very much for your time investment.

Sure thing, could do a bonus video on it. You can re-arm at a friendly airfield, farp, hidden farp or ship.

Yes, it's actually the one built into MOOSE with assets from the 476th range objects mod. I could do a tutorial on how it's set up sometime.

Hi Deep hack been going through your lessons now for a while, racking up the knowledge on the harrier. I've run into a problem with this one. I've done exactly the same to set up for a CCIP run but I'm not getting the CCIP drop line and cross. Only difference I have is I'm carrying the Tpod. But regardless of its off, on, Standby or if I go to TV mode I don't get the CCIP pipper. Only way I can drop any bombs is if I lock a target using either DMT or Tpod, then the HUD selects Auto and I get the CCRP drop line. What am I missing? lol

Strange, do you have a steerpoint designation set? What happens if you press uncage to cycle between auto and CCIP?

Hi Deephack, super video. I'm following it to the letter(I think) but I don't get a BFL bomb fall line on my HUD, any ideas anyone? Thanks BBV

Try pressing the uncage switch on your HOTAS as that will toggle between AUTO and CCIP modes. Failing that you can also toggle the mode from the armament panel controls.
