Concept doesn't really need to be realisable immediately, they are just a brainstorming about the future.

Where is the exhaust/funnel? or does it vent underwater?

What are the features of the new combat bridge?

Somehow it has to be an ancestor, conceptally, to the FTI.

What is the soonest this ship could be operational?

This is beautiful , what the "TRITON" could have been , if UK hadn't wasted the concept...................

he clearly isn't someone who use english on an everyday basis let alone speak. it he is translating as he speak, if he could just slow his pass down a little to get more time translating an formulating tho reduce "eeehh " but i guess you get tense in these situation and rush your speech.

Congratz, you have read the title "concept ship". Antiship gun doesn't really exist anymore (At least until a real progress in the Railgun)

Make it semi-submersible so it can avoid horizontal surface attacks then pop back up and POW! If you wanna talk real stealth c'mon.

Seems a little light on weapons, or is it just me? Cool looking design though, even if i prefer the CMN C SWORD 90 stealth corvette a little better.

Well, it is stealth so nothing can really be visible but it appears it has a 20mm to 30mm turret on the front for anti air/anti boat/missile defense and just behind that in between appears to be a decent sized array of missile tubes for striking enemy on land or enemy ships.

4:20 - 4:40 I agree. it is VERY light on weapons. AAM are good and all, but a CIWS is better.

The French dont really overload their ships on weapons, just look at the Lafayette or the French Belhara, theyre more interested in show of Flag than fighting modern navies in a threat rich environment, where theyll be working in a battle group.

We built a trimaran prototype back in the early 2000s, nothing came of it, we lent it to the Americans, they liked it a lot. Yet another case of fine British design only brought to life by others.

***** I don't understand that one? Britain's defence budget is around 2%. Higher than 33 Billion Dollars. Britain just fart arses about and does not go ahead with things like this because of it's rubbish politicians, officials and vested interests who don't take risks. Anyway, it does not matter.

the stealthier they get the uglier they look today's stealth fregates still look like decent warships but in the future they'll get very weird looking i have no doubt about their effectiveness but frankly they don't look as awesome as they use to

Old cargo type ship hulls r far better peace time platform then this. Proven design has multi use cargo, commercial or disaster relief, & fuel & deck space + design is made for loading easy & unloading & very efficient design that can run on worst fuel sludge if need b, so any where in the world no matter what happens in the world fuel supply not race car godless smack. Cost per tonnage a fraction of price of custom fuck high dollar devil smack shit. As your needs for defense & paroling less it converts back into full commercial going vessel just unbolt the Navy godless prts.
