I love these kinds of fans. My favorites are the type that let you use either a battery or a power cord. The milwaukee M18 and ryobi 7 1/2" both can use either; the m18 comes with a power adapter while the ryobi doesn't, but lets you use most standard extension cords as a power source. The ryobi is a better value. It moves plenty of air, and often goes on sale for $59usd for the fan, a 2.0 battery and a charger.

Great review! Just picked one up with 5AH battery and charger for 149.00 US dollars. I didn’t necessarily need the charger or battery but was an awesome bonus!

I have used up to a 9ah flex volt battery

i dont buy cordless tool to plug into the wall
