Thank you! This is so crazy to me because I had just noticed this on my own while watching skate videos. It really blew my mind to recognize that the arms go up BEFORE the pop. But it’s pretty tough to implement it while I’m learning to ollie. Once I start thinking about raising my arms, my pop starts misfiring and not hitting the ground proper. Should I get the pop down consistently first then start focusing on the arms? Or get the arms consistently then focus on mastering my pop?
