Looks cool. I need McFarlane Toys to stop with the side eyes and I would like all the figures to have matching hands. Two fists, two open, or two gripping hands.

Mcfarlane has heard the it's collector base and released comments that they will no longer do side eye, however it will take time to implement as some figures are already shipped prior to their policy change.

Great figure!! This has been such a fun line to collect. I also love how this line has me falling in love with comics I never would’ve read or looked for otherwise.

He's going to look damn cool next to my Superman and bizarro figures.

I hope mcfarlane keeps the pegs on capes, I love customizing the figures and I love that the pegs makes it eaiser to remove the capes

Design wise, it's a pretty damn good Zod! I'm completely satisfied with the sculpt. When I saw him, I immediately thought it'd be one of the more restricted McFarlane figures, but I was greatly surprised by his range of motion, especially in his shoulders. The shoulder armor rotates nicely under his sculpted cape. AND his cape is not as thick, and therefore hard, as some other figures's. His sculpt details are nice, and that paint finish, especially doing something different for the body compared to the gauntlets and greaves. I would still say I would like some interchangeable heads with standard McFarlane DC figs. Heat vision effect or frost breath would be a nice one to include. Don't need the bent steel bar.

Looks good, hope they make more Kryptonian people

I'm really concerned about the soft plastic on the abdominal and pelvic region, whether it will hold up over time.

I disagree, EVERY figure should come with at least 1 set of interchangeable hands. MacFarlane, in general, lacks on accessories. I understand for the price, we're bound to get fewer accessories. The figure looks tight, though! 👌🏼

Oh yeah in this case I meant six total hands in the box, but yeah I’m general I’d like to be getting extra hands more frequently, especially with the ongoing lack of accessories, I want fewer accessory hands

This guy is so cool. I just looked and very true to comics and zodd from the movies is a great modern adaption of the armor. I was pleasantly surprised about all the hands. With using the throne, I out superbly on it with blue suit lex defeated in front of him. An online friend told me where this and other figures that shouldn’t be out were. I got him, and all but black Adam from endless winter wave. I saw the other guy as batman and Batman in homemade costume after he lost everything. That Walmart had full the Batman wave too, except unmasked Batman and drifter.

Same here, picked up 10 new figures all at one Walmart (and, by picking up those, I completed 2 BAFs too)!

Can't wait for him to arrive ordered direct from McFarlane with a coupon so I'm going to be waiting awhile. That is very close to the most recent comic Zod look just with more color.

Great figure. I feel that he needs a major paint job. Lots of great detailing.. But his paint definitely needs some work.

Just got him for 5.99

Remove this head and stick it on the McFarlane Dread Pirate Roberts figure from the Princess Bride and you got a pretty good General Zod from Christopher Reeves Superman II

@@Poss699 yeah I cancelled my pre order on this one. Being a bit more selective with mcfarlane dc. Just recently got Martian man hunter aquaman swamp thing and clayface. All great figures.

I think I’ll get him and Black Adam if there still at Walmart

Black Adam is just ok, you may want to wait for a fully caped version if you’re not building the endless winter BAF. My Black Adam review will be up in a few days.

I don't play the game, but that his crest looks like the DOTA2 logo lol. I freaked out when I saw those alt hands tf Mcf actually giving shT?

Looking forward to this… Did you have a chance to pick up the Dark Detective on your big haul the other day? Would really like to see a review on him.

It’s not just you, they’re definitely long. But it does allow him to do a pose where he’s holding a clenched fist with his arms across his chest, which I have to admit is pretty cool

When I look at the Bottom of my General Zod Figures feet the right foot looks like it's shaped strange it almost makes it look like the figure has two left feet on the right and left legs. Does yours look like that to you ? It was hard to tell in your video.

Don't buy this figure at Amazon, they send you the unpainted figure. I didn't even know that it existed

Michael Shannon's portrayal of General Zod cannot be understated how it should have been an iconic portrayal of the character on the same level as Heath Ledger's Joker or Jack Nicholson's Joker(Both iconic in its own). If the Man of Steel movie came out in an earlier time the movie and Michael Shannon would have been cemented as the best Superman movie ever.

I know if you shave the inner crevices of the crotch area, it'll give you way more leg articulation

I think the armor on Lex Luthor should be a different plastic or have some paint, in hands it was a little bit of a disappointment, although I really like the sculpt

The grey in the hair is a mistake, Mcfarlane QC had been severely lacking lately, I got a Arkham Knights Red Hood with a leg that wasn't installed correctly and there was 3/8" gap between hip and leg, my GS Exclusive Swampthing ab price or chest is off and there is a huge gap in the front or back, Arkham Knights Batgirls cape is missing paint in several places. I am not happy with the way things are going at DC, I get paint mishaps happen, but major fitment issues with parts is unacceptable, and I have written CS about all of my recent issues, along with pictures. I also asked they Stop with these stylized poses in the packaging, ofent times parts are warped or because of all the ties stressed and mishaped. A normal standing pose works for every other company, why Mcfarlane has to do these odd poses is beyond me.

A lot of collectors keep in box so can look better posed in there. I take them out but store in boxes. Dip them in hot water and the shake will go back to normal.
