the DC Conversion was a easy task to me...more or less. my battery is located under the seat inside this small tool compartement. it fits quite well and the flap is still usable to secure the battery for rattling around. the size is about as yours with only 1200 mAh capacity. it's not very much, but i didn't had any problems yet when i have to drive 20 or more miles in the dark. the actual goal was to make the ATV street legal. for that i also have 4 small LED turn lights with hazards combo and a Motorcycle horn mounted behind the front bumper. the headlights i left OEM, bc i like that look. the flasher relay and rectifier i've mounted to the frame, in the location were the old voltage regulator was attached. no fuses between the circuit. i'm quite happy with my little unremarkable battery setup. it works and i'm legal on the roads

Looks really good. Have you tried it out yet on the trails? Did the lights put out enough light down the trail compared to the stock lights?

Can I do this to my 83 atc 200 just for charging my phone or running a cb?
