Great Saiyaman could’ve been cool if I didn’t already see Golden Fighter Gohan. His identity doesn’t even fucking matter. No human on Earth can threaten anyone he considers friends and family, even Kid Goku and _Krillin_ could take headshots from a revolver

Deandra Goforth Cartoon Network yea

Man, I adore this opening. I love the era of Dragonball it showcases. Seeing Gohan as an adult, being a superhero, getting to know Videl. Seeing Piccolo and Vegeta as the grumpy mentors with kid Trunks and Goten being the rabblerousers to balance it out. Seeing 18 just happy and married to Krillin. It's all just such a pleasant and comfy era. The gnarly guitar part at 1:00 always makes me really emotional, oddly enough. Literally teared up here.

Hearing this again after so many years has made me emotional. All the nostalgia and feelings from my childhood rushing back to me so fast I instantly teared up. How I wish I can go back to watching my many DBZ CD’s with my siblings, pretending to be the characters and having no care in the world.

@Don't Cry dude to be honest I have no clue lol I just know it as the movie opening theme or something like that. But I do know mark Menza composed it if that helps at all.

Give props to Mark Menza for creating this awesome theme for the movies. Him and Bruce Faulconer did great with the dub's score. And of course...always have to thank Shunsuke Kikuchi for being the original master composer of the Dragon Ball series.

Best DB franchise opening I've heard so far, apart from Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku (the best part of GT).

The song takes me back to my early childhood, watching DVDs of DragonBall rented from the library with my little sister on our portable player after school. DBZ was my first anime, and it, and this opening, will always hold a special place in my heart

A lot of DBZ just isn't as cool with the Japanese ost, the Bruce Faulconer ost has things like Gohans Rage theme, the Gohan vs Frieza theme, the Ssj3 theme, super buus theme, etc

They hate him because he's not as one-dimensional as Goku, Goten, Trunks, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Tien. You know, those guys that ONLY care about training. Gohan dedicating his time to his family and career while still being powerful enough to stop a meteor is way more awesome than them.
