I love this song so much... My hometown brothers.. They use to be called Kinsman Dazz. After a major street here. Also they were the highlight of Kinsman Bar and Grill. A show bar here as well. In the late 70s and some of the 80s. Then they went to the larger stage. I just love my brothers❤🎤🎼🎶🎶🎶

Listening to this brings back so many memories. My Uncle Fella passed away on March 5, 2022 and he sang The Dazz Band songs all the time. I was even his dance partner as a little girl, he would spin me around and throw me in the air. I'll miss you greatly Fella! 😢 Sing with the angels and watch over us all.

YESSSSS!!! This was the song guys waited for to asked that girl to dance. Times were so different and women R&B songstress were still singing about loving their man too. this is just one of the many Dazz Band Love songs. I was in the 7th grade when knock knock came out, but I have siblings 10 & 11 years older than me so I was surrounded by the classic, funk soul of this time. So Glad!!!!!

Then they tied for a Grammy. Let it Whip (Dazz Band) and I want to be with you (EWF). Love both groups but EWF catalog is ridiculous.
