I definitely miss the old Daytona USA. Lots of good memories with my dad going to the champions ceremony the morning after the 500 a couple times. I distinctly remember the day after Dale Jarrett won in 2000. We got pictures with Dale and his dad, Ned. Went to every 500 from 1998 through 2007. Some of my favorite memories.

Visit first time with son 2005 after jeff gordon won. Then visit last yr was for sure a change . It was a good change did a basic tour in 2005. This visit we did the full tour really enjoyed it alot. Now want to tour all nascar tracks.

I love this museum its my "local" racing museum! I am about an hour and half from the speedway.

That is not the car Austin Cindric won with, for that year only due to cars and parts being in short supply, they painted up the prototype Ford Mustang like Cindric's car and scheme he ran and doused it in confetti. It is the only time that they have done such a thing in extreme circumstances like this.
