The many times me and my buddies took the trip from NC to Biketoberfest back in the '90s and 2000s were some of the greatest times ever.

I've had beautiful weather finally in Alaska this summer. It's been nothing but rain. Only problem is it's 12-22 degrees here. I bit chilly for riding . Beautiful sun shine and blue skies.

Standing on your seat to reach your ape hangers!!! 😆. Gotta live it. Think Donna would have a say in the amout of time that you spent at the bike wash not getting the bike washed. Ha. Thanks for the tour. Have been to Bike Week, but not the Biketober Fest. Cool!

Thanks for sharing for those who wont be there. I can't believe some communities who shoot themselves in the foot from bringing in revenue. Unbelievable.

@port1491, the City of Daytona Beach, has been pushing to get Biketoberfest and Bike Week out from the city limits. That's why most of activities are in and around Volusia County. From what I hear, an attorney purchased the property on Beach Street. I have been going to Bike Week since 1988. And attending Biketoberfest since the mid 90's. A lot has changed here, in Florida. And certainly not for the better. Save your money and go to Sturgis. There are plenty of places to ride up there. It's tough riding here in Florida any time of year.

😳 I didn't know you were there. I just saw your video now. Main st was unbelievably packed Saturday morning. I was disappointed that only BMW was there for test rides. Another note, The mechanic in parking lot behind JP's knows his stuff. The guys impressive and takes the time to talk to you and teach you things about bike. He worked on my Vulcan in March and worked on my ultra Friday. Really good people. I actually trailer my bikes there from NJ just to have him put tires on instead of getting them from someone up north. I trust him more than anyone to work on my bikes.

I remember when all the manufacturers had demo rides at the Speedway at Biketoberfest. The demo rides brought thousands of people to the speedway and consequently, that brought 100's of vendors. After the 2009 recession, less and less manufacturers could afford the very high prices the track was charging for their spaces.

Wow lots of cool bikes and trikes in main street and Destination Daytona and in the Harley dealer shop. I have never seen so many different coloured bikes in the one shop. Luv the classic bikes upstairs and the really cool Elvis style Harley 😎✌️Gotta get one of those. Ooh nice babes at the bike wash 😃

And Jerry didn’t put his feet down but to kick the jiffy. 🙂🙂

There’s new Harleys everywhere right now. Anyone who pays over MSRP is crazy. I’m even seeing the new CVO’s sitting at dealerships right now.

Anyone who buys a new bike is crazy. So many used ones out there due to people buy them and realize they can't ride em then sell . I actually ended up with 2 Harleys because of that.

Yep got a Softail standard 2020 with 102 miles. Saved thousands over new

now i don’t have to go. and i live here😅

I prefer that route to Daytona from Citrus as well. it is more of a scenic route than 40.

Complaining about a few days of increased traffic and noise while getting an injection of cash for the city is really short sighted.

Very short-sighted. These little towns on US 1 lost millions in revenue not just from the vendors but many brick-and-mortar restaurants and motels went out of business. Then they raised the property taxes on all the homeowners by thousands to make up for the lost revenue.
