If you’re looking for a spot to go fishing along Florida’s Atlantic Coast, then you’ve got to put Daytona Beach fishing on your radar. This town’s got a great variety of species and the perfect mixture of inshore and offshore fishing to keep you on the edge of your fighting chair.
You can fish the calm waters of the Halifax River or head deep into the ocean and tick some big game fish off your bucket list. You can target everything from Redfish and Trout inshore, to Mahi Mahi and Sailfish offshore. No matter what, there are plenty of charters in the area that will cater each trip based on your preferences.
The best part about Daytona Beach is its access to amazing offshore fishing grounds. Just 25 miles off the coast, sits one of the most productive reef systems in the Atlantic. This long stretch of coral reefs attracts a variety of species, including Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and Kingfish. These spots are great for bottom fishing and trolling and fun for the whole family.
Daytona Beach fishing charters are licensed to cover all customers on board, so no need to purchase a fishing license on your own. Tackle and bait are usually included in the price as well, so just be sure to bring some sun protection, and pack some food and drinks for the ride.
Check out the link above the description to take a look at some of the charters in the area and get ready to start planning your adventure in Daytona Beach!

Correct. That's because they are 14 miles from one another and both fishable when heading out from either location. This video covers the entire Greater Daytona Beach area, including New Smyrna Beach. Both Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach are a part of the Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach Metropolitan Area. Thanks for watching and good eye 😉
