I love Rory's voice but yeah if you really listen to it too perfect. Backing track, sound guy, and pitch correction play a big part.

This is not exactly live. Every directed live performence for KZread or live DVDs goes through some serious editing to get the best possible audio, sometimes even dubbed for some parts, added backing track etc.

There's no way Rory is human. His voice is unbelievable.

@@nickhall_music live vocal correction isn't made by a pedal, it would be through the live tracks that they use for synths etc, the vocals do through the mic to a daw on a pc with plug ins on it and on the video Atsuya sent you can clearly hear that there isn't any correction live, on the Caliber video there is very little correction, mostly eq, compression and reverb so it sounds as huge as it is

Dayseeker is so underrated! Thank you Caliber for putting out the best quality live videos for these type of bands!!!!

@@ganz_solo he still sounds incredible raw. I’ve heard him both with and without processing as far as pitch correction goes and the dude has crazy accuracy. I have absolutely nothing against using pitch correction live to give people the best performance possible but he’s not a guy that needs it. He’s nuts

Yeah everything sounds flawless. To be honest, it I’m not sure how much the guitarists are singing. They’re playing over a backing track, which provides the amazing pads and 808s in the background. But you can also hear the female voice track on there. And the voice of the guitarists sounds so spot on to the lead that I wouldn’t be surprised if he recorded vocals for the backing track as well. And the guitarists provide doubles. I have no problem with any of it. I would’ve killed it get a sound anywhere close to this when my band played live.

Imagine putting on a ridiculous performance like this and getting almost zero crowd participation

After recently hearing the album for the first time, I was afraid to check out a live performance fearing it was going to be too difficult to meet expectations. I’m happy to say I was completely wrong. I think this band is capable of completely changing the very fabric of metalcore.

Very humble dude, Rory was so nice during their set and was like I'm just a regular guy that is in accounting when not on tour, come up and say hi to us it would mean a lot, great attitude to have with such talent.

This song hits so different. A 3 year one night stand. Honestly had the same situation for 4 years, nothing but toxic bullshit. She ended up using me for money, took a gift I got her and burned it. Do not let toxic people control your life

One of the best live videos I've seen. It's hard to imagine that the band sounds this crisp live, but even though the audio is processed afterwards, Dayseeker exceeds most of the "comparable" bands in performance, songwriting and audio production (on stage and off). I knew Rory's talent and capabilities, but in this performance, he shines beyond measure. Combined the amazing support from the backing vocals (the guys nailed it!) and samples, it's unbelievable. Hats off!

I discovered Dayseeker spring 2021. I have never listened to a band more. They have become my favorite band ever (which says a lot with the emotion I had with past bands). I’m seeing them live in a month I am beyond excited.

Incredible live performance! I love how well divided the vocal role is. That would be incredibly tough/impossible to get clean with one person doing everything but having 2 solid singers makes it very efficient and easier to nail all the parts. An example to follow for sure

I'm 29 years old, and for as long as there have been live videos of bands on KZread, I've been watching them. When I say that this is by FAAAR the absolute best sound(band performance/AV mix) I mean it. It's almost unbelievable. Seriously unreal performance by Dayseeker and incredible job by Caliber TV. Wow.

Everyone is complaining about the crowd not moving. But I have a different perspective. When I've seen bands that have totally blown me away live, I simply cannot move. I am in awe and what they are doing and how they are performing. I take in every aspect of the performance and simply just stand there looking at how good they are. Im not jumping around and throwing my hands up. I am appreciating how fucking amazing they sound and good they are because I cannot simply believe it. And if I saw this live, I would be standing still.

happened when i saw protest the hero 7 years ago, i literally couldn't focus on anything but the guitars lol first time seeing a band playing something on that level live, changed my whole perspective on music
