The level of respect Daylyt showed in that 3rd round, really wanting Ill to show out and succeed, that was real respectable. That was a good thing of Day to do.

Daylyt did this battle from the perspective of a boxing coach. Something like that. That third round really was godlike. His first and 3rd were both about just letting Yung Ill do his thing. Yung ill was rapping against daylyt. And daylyt was really just doing a meta thing, rapping above Yung. He said few things to actually attack and break down Ill. But the way he treated Ill made this a body. Yung Ill lost 3-0. I did really like his first round though.

Dylan, if you look at it as purely, striclty bars, then yes ill beat Day in the 3rd. But Day gave his 3rd round to resurrect ill. Day forfeited out of sympathy and wanted to be flamed in the 3rd round. If fighter 1 purposely puts his hands down out of sympathy to let fighter 2 punch him clean, does fighter 2 really still win forreal ? On paper, yes. But they all know if was out of pity.

I gotta come back and watch this from time to time, as we have these very few examples of elite penmanship like Daylyt, and Yung Ill ain’t no slouch. Wish the rounds were a bit longer, but ever since Day brought that unbelievable showing against Roc it seems like that’s the bar now and no one has reached it since. Daylyt might REALLY be the 🐐
