Day6 mentioned that they played it "safe" for this album, they wanted to have their first comeback in a while have a classic Day6 sound. All 4 of them agree that Happy was their favorite from this album. I definitely appreciated it more after watching them sing it live. Like many Day6 songs, live is the best way to hear them. I really love GTHO, but Welcome to the Show feels really special to me. They look so happy singing it together, even in the mv, so it feels nice. It reminds me of Time of our Life in that since, both anthems that remind me of happy times and Day6 smiling. Honestly the entire album has been on repeat and they've all become a favorite at this point. ;) Thanks for your hard work

my fun fact about the album: actually the name means, and i quote Youngk: "My Day's in its fourth year and the four of us returned in four years. And so we combined FOUR and EVER, hoping we'd last forever. It's an album with such wishes" Translation from wonpilates ofc 🙏

not gonna lie, I waited and hoped for this video almost from the first day of comeback, thank you! this album grew on me unexpectedly, first day and first listen was like "I'm happy to have new music, but no emotional attachments this time" to "I'm listening to this for whole week straight and all the previous day6 discography too" 😅

About the algorithm lyrics here 16:21, it's actually refers to the algorithms of social media It's like when you go to your social media, the algorithms make you only see successful people's postings or people who post their happy/successful life when you're still struggling with your own life and that made you wonder if there will be such a day (happy or successful day) come to you one day p.s: i am not an english speaker so pardon me for my lousy explanations 😂 i hope you can get the point

What I've always felt every time DAY6 releases an album and coincidentally also quoted by Sungjin is that they always write songs that describes them best at that time or period. They release songs that carry messages they want to convey the most at the time of writing. The album this time, rather than wanting to prove themselves or being experimental with their music, it's quite clear (as what they explain about the album) that Fourever🍀 is really a warm greeting to fans again especially through the title track WTTS lyrics 🩷. I personally feel the album has everything combined from their old albums, unit albums, and solo albums. And it's really not a bad thing, it just describes their musical inspirations when they wrote it. If DAY6 releases another album this year, I think it's going to be more experimental and 'out of their way', so I'm also reeealllly looking forward for the next album!😆

i agree with umu saying let me love you being a stylistic continuation of only from negentropy. they were actually played in sequence during their seoul concert last april 12-14! 🫶🏻

This channel is really my favorite day6 reaction channel because they talk about musical aspects and give us some musical education. And as someone who loves to analyze the instrumental sounds in every song, i really love them. They pointed out some stuff that i hadn't noticed before. And also because they're musicians, they don't pretend to like a song. If they like or dislike something about the song, they will explain it from a musician's point of view, so they're being honest. And i really appreciate that :D

I need to admit that I absolutely love HAPPY. I was sitting in the train listening to the song and I just started crying. I didn‘t even know the lyrics at that point but it just feels so nostalgic and hopeful and as I was going through a rough time losing one of my best friends due to him not being able to cope with my terrible mental health. The song just feels like a message to not give up and allow yourself to be happy without thinking about any consequences. The thing Henry said about it being the opposite anthem to Zombie just fits so so much. Also, the Day6 sound of this song is just absolutely incredible. I don‘t think there will ever be a time where I will not be headbanging to the most heartbreaking songs in existence

I've been waiting for this, even haven't watched your podcats about fourever since I want to see your first reaction first 😭 thank you umu & henry and to your team for always supporting day6 🥺🍀 My favorite song is definitely "didn't know". I was listening to the album in the middle of my review for my board exam back then, and when "didn't know" came in, I immediately cried. Like I even haven't read the lyrics about the song but it immediately made me cry because of the melody 😭 I was just so tired at that time. I brought my youngk pc to my exam for goodluck and now I'm a registered medical technologist. Truly, Day6's music is healing, mydays' healer 🥺🍀

Umu cute denial of a Day6 album's without the ballads 😅 I feel you right there, we just love being in these beautiful pain by the boys. My instant favourite after the first listen is Sad Ending (literally got my mouth opened the whole time) and Get the hell out. And then Let me love you started haunting me for the next few weeks. That guitar intro just got me, and maybe I'm a bit lucky in the sense of being triggered by midi sound so I can enjoy it a bit better. Though I do hope we will get a performance with real string someday too (please i need them to bring back the ochestra). P/s: Love Henry's rose hair clipper.

11:21 I can only remember their NME interview where Young K said it was like a challenge for them [to use chants in chorus]? but he didn't say much. Here it is: "Usually, that kind of chant comes after the chorus, like a post-hook. It was our challenge to put it at the beginning of the chorus.”

ahhhhhhh the return of umu and henry!! i knew umu's favourite was going to be sad ending ehehe. my top 3 combines both of yours: 1. didn't know - i didn't love it upon first listen because after the first chorus it became quite predictable to me, but day6's ballads are always my favourite. their storytelling is so beautiful, the lyrics break my heart and the strings reminded me a little of above the clouds. 2. sad ending - i love how much attitude the members put into the vocals! sungjin's first "i sarang" in the first chorus caught me off guard and got me smiling so hard. i also completely agree with umu pointing out similarities between this song/this album as a whole and eod's work. 3. welcome to the show - my absolute favourite part of this song is the second part of the chorus (after the "whoaaaaa"s). it sounds so victorious and heartwarming, which suits the vibe of this comeback. makes me emotional :') thanks so much again for your thoughts on the album ♡ fingers crossed this stays up

This album was incredibly touching for me ❤ it was such a wonderful comeback. There was a review by a korean music critic that said something along the lines of "Making the music you know you're good at is also a big strength", and I think it really expresses the way MyDays felt about Fourever. The songs match their sound so well they feel instantly classic. It was probably on purpose, so the guys could demonstrate they're still DAY6 even if they're not 5, and I think it worked perfectly. As expected by the nation's band 💖💖💖 Thank you guys for the video!! I was really looking forward to your reaction, as our honorary MyDay 🫡 awesome work as always!

Finally!! Thank you for coming back Henry and Umu 😭🙏🏼 Herewith my top 3 1. Welcome to the show: i like how versatile the song is. Suits for any occassion such as Wedding, Festivals, World Cup or any sport event, and many more. We miss this kind of song from DAY6 after ToOL 2. Happy: how twisted a song can be, Happy it is. Upbeat, yet it’s about anxiety of a person of whether a happiness will be achieved someday. 3. Sad Ending: i mean start form the intro, the dynamic of the melody and everything about it, it feels so rocky dark and sad break up song 😭 i do also agree regarding The Power of Love, still a bit tough for me to naturaly like the song from the very first listen. Funfact tho, at the WTTS concert, they played the song as a continuation with Deep in Love which has similiar sounds and vibe (this also happened with Let Me Love You - ONLY) Anyway, hopefully after this mini album there will be a full one (and SUNGJIN SOLO beforehand) then a world tour ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉 Miss you, Umu and Henry 🍀

“Its safe!” LMFAO Honestly? kind of agree! Still enjoyable and always happy to get more music. But It doesn’t help that, this was a bit rushed. I feel like they were on a race post military because they wanted to capitalize on the reverse charting of their songs. And that’s obviously smart! But mydays would have waited regardless. They’ve never disappointed us before and they came back to a lot of changes (A whole ass member is gone!).There was bound to be some adjustments! They’ve had more interesting sound developments in other albums! Which highlights how “Power of Love”’s feeling of repetitiveness. And while I enjoy Welcome, I think its a song best enjoyed in a concert where you can share it with others….revel in that euphoria of jumping up and down with someone else! Happy, Let me Love you and Didn’t know are my highlights and the ones I’ve been returning to the most. Closely followed by Get the Hell out and Sad ending!! Who join their corner of more heavy ish songs like Rescue me and 121u…? Or a sibling to Breaking Down from Unlock! I completely agree Umu!! hahaha! I just think Happy is the type of song that gets you back in a good place! It really is a response to Zombie. It’s a plea to keep being hopeful in tough situations. And that’s what makes Day6 so special!

I absolutely love Welcome to the Show. Especially sounds amazing live. It was just made for concert (also why I think the whoas are so popular with them, they work so well in concert) The addictive melody really makes it good for concert. You can’t help but sing along. It’s definitely one of my most replayed songs. And I love Henry’s breakdown of the song.

The long-awaited DAY6 reaction is finally here!! Yeay! Thank you Umu & Henry! 🍀❤ My top 3 songs from this album: 1. Get the Hell Out 2. Sad Ending 3. Happy I was already so interested in the instrumentals of those 3 from their track preview film. And when the album came out, Happy became my number one favorite lyric-wise bcs it's SO RELATABLE for me 😭 I agree with Umu saying this album is a "safe" one from DAY6. It's not really my personal taste, but overall I think it's still a great album for the comeback of THE DAY6 we know & love. And I'm still gonna sing these songs at the top of my lungs anyway this Saturday in Jakarta! It's gonna be my first time seeing them in person (except Brian. I went to his solo concert last Oct). SUPER EXCITED!! I hope they will have a world tour soon too 🙏🏻
