At 4:48 when the fan congratulated Brian on doing a good job and then his soft “thank you”. 😭😭 Like you can see him working through the pain just to get up those stairs and he stops to respond so genuinely. You can see why he’s so loved and respected in the sport.

I assumed that was a Crossfit fan seeing him for the first time too because they called him Shaw, his last name written on the back of his shirt. Curious how the merging of this event effects the popularity of strongman because there are a lot of Crossfit people seeing strongman for the first time.

you hear brian always say things like "have a champion mindset", or "be great " and "overcome obstacles"... and you can see in every training session and every competition. brian lives those words to the best of his ability. it's very inspiring and very motivational. thank you for your example, and for what you do for strongman.

Hate to see you go down with an injury, but we are extremely proud of you. You basically went through the contest on one leg, and did pretty dang good. You are a true ambassador to the sport, and the love from us fans shows that. Prayers for quick healing. Get back out there and kick some butt. Keri is such an amazing wife and teammate. You couldn't do it without her.

As that very last fan in the video that you stayed to say hi to, and even chatted a bit about Keri and the past competitions I've seen, I have to say thank you so much. It means the world to us fans knowing that even with a significant injury you hung out until the very last fan (us) got to say hi and get a picture. You've been my favorite strongman since 2009 and will continue to be. Greatest strongman of all time.

A champion is defined in more ways than trophies. Your heart and your demeanor as well as your love for the sport and the fans - speaks volumes and shows what a champion you are, Brian!

There seems to be mostly quality people in the sport of strongman, but Brian sets a higher standard for even those people. They say never meet your hero’s because you’ll be disappointed. I think Brian is the exception to that rule.

Good' o' Brian. He sure is a nice feller. Been subbed to this channel for three years now. It's like a Netflix show for me now. Like a good and warm friend that you can visit every week with new uploads and videos. Speedy recovery Brian. You still did quite well with a severe leg injury. So at 100% there is definitely a 5th World's Strongest Man Title for you!

Brain is such a legend in this sport but also with people he got an injury put he still standing for 2 hours later talking too fans. If more people where like him the world would be a better place. Can’t wait too see what the next year brings you Big Man 💪🏋️‍♀️🏆🥇

The fact that he was there the longest talking to fans and taking pictures is so cool. 2 hours after the competition ended and he is still there. Wish more athletes were like that.

You can see why Brian is so respected, dude is injured and it probably hurts a good damn amount to just stand and walk and he stays to make sure everyone gets to say hi shake his hand and take a picture with him. His humility is very admirable. What a great guy and great ambassador of the sport.

There’s not to many people in history that had this kind of heart to finish things he starts. One of a kind Brian

As a low level strongman competitor and lover of the sport, i feel some uk based strongmen are starting to look at interacting with fans as an inconvenience and i want to say thank you for being the awesome, inspirational human being you are.👍💪

Literally the only strongman that stayed to meet his fans and speak with them. He understands how much even 2 minutes talking to him means to them.

It was tough seeing you get injured during the first event, seeing you fight through, then spend the time, your time , with the fans. These are what makes you a great champion and ambassador.

CLASS - Brian is the definition of CLASS! LOVE that he spends time with the fans and that he has the never quit attitude - lots of lessons can be learned from such and example!

I can't imagine the pain you went through on all of these events. What a fantastic display of physical and mental toughness.

I keep seeing people saying that Brian needs to retire to save his legacy......let me put something into perspective for those people. From what I can find, Brian has competed in a total of 55 recorded events. In those 55 events he has only finished out of the top 5 a total of 4 times. He has only missed the podium a total of 10 times. He went 6 consecutive years (2013-2018) where he made the podium at both WSM & The Arnold Classic...4x WSM, 3x Arnold Classic, 3x Arnold Pro, 6x Strongman Super, 3x Giants Live, 2x Jon Pall Classic............Brian could compete into his 80's, nothing is hurting that legacy. Stay at it Brian, your real fans are here for you!
