I'm starting to learn the best strategy is the one you arrive at through a series of forks in the road. I've watched so many different traders with so many different strategies that all conflict with each other to the point where i didn't know what to think anymore. It wasn't until i started putting together what works for me vs what doesn't, instead of trying to blindly follow someone else that I have started to see a positive change. The best analogy is Tim Sykes, because he has so many millionaire students that don't trade like him at all. If they all traded like Tim Sykes, they wouldn't all have their own trading services. PS, I smashed like so hard the button sticks. That or the Pepsi i spilled on it.

Underrated advice. That is 100% true and If I had to put a # on it, I'd say 95% of non-profitable traders don't realize this and they keep blindly following someone elses rules and strategy trying to make it work for them when in reality it goes against their natural impulses. This is something I've only recently discovered and now I feel much more confident in finding my own unique edge in the markets.

“when I win, I don’t care. When I lose, I don’t care.” -Matt Owen - I like this mentality! I often compare trading with professional sportists. For example in tennis you may do a bad ball or two but for the next one you need to clear your mind like it never happened. This immediately puts your mind into another perspective. You prepare the next ball and the follow-up tactics. But you are also ready to adjust according to your opponent return shot!

I think this is the best interview, I’ve seen so far. It reached a different level, profound , insightful, philosophical. It reiterates that our self worth goes beyond our trading activities. That the definition of success in trading is not the amount money you can make, but the process , the road traveled to improve our skills as traders and our worth as human beings.

Triforce trader is great I have found that trading is. Identify and edge, Identify risk, execute the trade it either works or ut does not. Every pattern or edge has a built in probabilities and there is a random distribution between wins and losses. The problem is as humans we have a tendency for apophenia or seeing patterns in randomness. We tend to think that this trade is going to be like xyz ticker. There is no way in advanced to know what trade will be a winning trade. You have to execute every play that fits your edge and most importantly have set criteria for each trade.

No matter how good a trading system is if the mindset sucks it will not be profitable, up and down, down up.....Understand your mindset, dig into it, take a CLOSER LOOK at how your mindset works, and find a method to reprogram it. Cool seeing Matti on again! I haven't seen much content with him in it recently (except his own videos), so it's cool to hear from him again. I specifically liked the point he brought up saying "If you do what society tells you to do, you're going to end up disappointed". This intertwines into the "90% of traders lose" & just anything really lmao. People give way too much advice on shit they have no idea about but have convinced themselves they're experts on... Just bad information spread out like wildfire. You guys gotta play together sometime & stream it on Twitch (Matti mentioned his near the end of the video). Last I saw he was playing Spiderman around a week ago. If you dudes play Halo at all, that'd be sick to watch! 🤘 *and yes, already liked the video lololololololol*

"People give way too much advice on shit they have no idea about but have convinced themselves they're experts on... Just bad information spread out like wildfire" Faulk (and BTT) - Exact same thing with spirituality. I am a REAL spiritual teacher AND spirits help me trade Bitcoin futures. On the former note.. 99% of people of spiritual propensity believe through some exalted teacher or some skewed text that humans have a DIVINE SPARK. This simply isn't true.. literally everyone is wrong. Divine Spark is something acquired through a specific effort to make a connection with your ACTUAL parent. The received energy then starts to incrementally transform your SOUL_TYPE from FINITE_NATURAL to INFINITE_IMMORTAL over your prolonged lifetime. In fact, most spirits in afterlife when they see another spirit with a legit transformed soul to Divine.. initially believe that spirit came from another universe due to the way their spirit body appears in both tremendous beauty and brightness.. yet.. those developing celestials were once like you.. and lived one Earth life in recent or very distant past extending back potentially 160,000 years. Reincarnation does not exist either like billions literally believe. Thanks to my spirit friends and great chartists like "WOLVES of CRYPTO".. and great interviewers like "B the Trader" I have turned $1500 into $150,000 in 4 weeks. My Acura TLX S-TYPE turbo.. arrives in exactly 7 days and I am paying cash for it. No bot here. Real person..real results.. real universal laws in play. Peace and God Bless.

Yes there is a study, I can't name it but I learned about it in school years ago. It's pretty trippy actually, the number is around $80,000/year salary. They found that the "happiness" level in people peaks around that number. In other words, it's not as much money as you think. Interesting because the new mantra for young people in our generation is "I want to be a billionaire." Go interview any billionaire and ask them if they have any problems.... They do, and big ones. A good place to start is ask WHY you are trading, and then ask WHAT you want trading to do for you. Great interview man, keep it up!

Watching this one again. Ive noticed that when I have a really good trade I need to take a break before my next trade. I tend to be more careless after a really good trade because my emotions are still up. I need to walk away for a while untill I am cool headed again and not feeling anything.

@@BTheStory I played FLGC yesterday, was green $372, even though made 1.00 a share got in probably too high, was a bad trade. Wanted 1:2 rtw at least, didn't even get 1:1. If held for 1:2 would've lost 600, way too much know. I think it was due to chasing or oversizing where I got in. Where I got in needed to give it room. Nasty flush.

@alex it will be great to start differentiating trading styles / trading products. What I mean is, day trading / scalping futures is way different from day trading / scalping penny stocks. Whilst I keep listening to great traders providing great advice, somehow, I struggle to make the above differentiation.

I really struggled with the emotional swings in day trading, when one trade can put you on tilt for your next trade, and when you're on tilt, that leads to overtrading and bad decisions while in a trade. What really helped me was to start swing trading longer time frame trades, off of daily weekly and monthly key levels. Day trading requires a skill level that I haven't quite hit yet, but I can make money in swing trading :) day trading was very humbling for me, for sure. I lost a lot of money lol

I'm not sure if I heard it right but whoever it is sounds like he's killing it and I would like to follow his videos as well if he has any. It will be really helpful in the videos if when someone's name is mentioned you guys can put a graphic with a name on the screen so that we actually know who is being referred to. Yes for me I have been victimized by stop losses recently. Was long SPRT at 19.89, stopped out after open at 18.99, the past 2 days it has taken out the whole dollar below and bounced at the half dollar. It tends to selloff way more than expected at the open. So today in aftermarket it broke the whole dollar and bounced at the half dollar, so it wasn't going to wait until after the open tomorrow since that's been like a pattern recently. I'd still be on the stock if I wasn't stopped out there. These morning panics don't make any sense and have just really crushed longs after the open. So I'm beginning to expect these big pullbacks at the open even on stocks that are doing really good. If my stop loss was 18.49 instead of 18.99 I'd still be on the stock. Trading is really difficult for sure.

I take on average over one thousand trades per day. I am a scalper. I have no hard PTs or stops. I go based on gut feeling. One of my my favorite setups and my biggest winners is the irrational sell off down to support. I'm looking for an unsustainable move to the downside that will almost certainly yield a bounce. I'll take very large size, which yes is risky, but I only need a 5-15 cent bounce, but I choose the area very carefully. My setup is usually at least two massive red 1 min candles, then I I take a starter on the open of the third candle and go full size at the close of the third candle ONLY, if it goes even lower while simultaneously the red volume profile is descending. If the third candle is already starting to bounce before it's closed, I don't take a full position. Sometimes, the last red candle will "pin" and leave a massive bottoming tail, I will set a limit order at the bottom of the wick to see if I can catch it. If I do get filled , I will set a hard stop just below the wick.

As a veteran in trading of over 12 years...I'd say "not having a strategy" is a better way of saying you're naive w/ no real experience yet (aka just winging-it). That said...if you filter out those wanna-be traders from those who actually know how to trade. I would say the #1 reason why "real" traders fail is because of the lack of capital. Having a strategy/plan/risk management is the fundamentals. But without a sizeable amount of money that really is associated w/ the strategy...then you won't succeed. You need a certain amount of capital for you to execute your strategies without having to be held psychologically and logistically hostage to funds....which in-turn affects how you actually trade. But again......this applies to real traders (not wanna-be's).
