Perth is a beautiful place to live and raise a family. The standard of living and quality of life is very high. We are not as crowded as Melbourne or Sydney but that’s the way we like it.

Yes Damian.. the sky is absolutely beautiful. Whenever I return to Perth from overseas, the first thing I notice is how high the sky looks as compared to overseas.

Gosh Damian you make Perth look really nice. Ah, not as nice as Mandurah or Rockingham BUT.....😊. The no people, no crowds thing is what we love about Western Australia. Love Bali, love Thailand but love coming back to no hassle, no crowds and calm, nobody much around. But stay out of Northbridge Damian! Thanks for coming. Cheers.

Great video, Perth is much bigger but you have covered a good part of the City. Places you must visit if you have time is Lancelin and The Pinnacles. Lancelin is an hours drive from Butler, and The Pinnacles 1:45 minutes. Amazing places, very unique.

Yes, certain days, early mornings can be very quiet. But in the evenings it can be very busy. The bars and restaurants come to life. Since COVID Perth has become a lot quieter than it used to be. Still many shops/cafes closed.

This is a very honest show of Perth. 🇦🇺

Just read some of the other comments. Northbridge (restaurant & nightclub area) and the city are fine at night. There are many people and families around. There is also plenty of police and security. Like any big city, you always have to take care at night. The shops are open late on Friday nights in the city so its a good time to see the city at night. Unfortunately the Twilight Hawkers International Food Market ended on 31st March, otherwise you could have experienced that on a Friday night too. Although since the pandemic the markets is only two thirds of what it used to be sadly. Now that we're heading into winter things have quietened down in Perth city. Summer is the best time to come, around Christmas, when festivals are on etc. etc. Fantastic weather we're having. You picked a good time to come to Perth. Plenty of sunshine and warm weather during the day. Enjoy your stay!! :) Happy and safe travels Damian. Love to Winny!

Noice shots or Perth city. I have a car so when I have a city day I park up in Kings Park and walk down to the city. Mount Street takes you right to Saint Georges terrace, bit of a steep walk on the way back but not too hard. 25 minutes and I'm in the mall. I often spend half a day just walking, eating and chilling. On a nice sunny day it's really hard to beat. Sad to see you eating that maccas crap when there are so many good eateries and restaurants, you were right at Northbridge too.

You can walk to Kings park quite easily or there is a bus from St George’s terrace. I used to always walk because I don’t like waiting for a bus.

Hello Damian, enjoying videos of Perth. Australia needs young people like u & Winny! Have you both ever thought of migrating to Australia? After living in Indonesia 4 years, the open space of the US and walking under trees without noise did it 4me. Crowded spaces with noise on a daily basis take its toll on your mental health. Growing up in a physical culture in Bali is very different from a western perspective. What may seem boring to some, heaven 4 me!Enjoy, just bought 5coffee! Great shot of black swans! |

As someone who lived in Perth when I was younger I would highly recommend not going to Northbridge and filming at midnight haha it's not safe at all! Enjoy your time in Perth!

I live in Brisbane and have never been to Perth...it looks very clean, organized, chilled out but so quiet and yes...Australia is VERY expensive...sadly...you can have a cheaper and more healthier and bigger meal at any Asian (Vietnamese) cafes' I just don't understand why Mc Donalds charge so much. I have been to Bali 7 times...and I would love to live there 6months of the year!

Thats going a bit overboard don't you think!! There are lots of people in the city late at night. There is plenty of police around too. I work in the city, at nights and on weekends and walk around on my own late at night. There are many bars, clubs and restaurants open until late too. Perth is not like other countries with high violence and crimes.

Looks nice for one or 2 days visit. But after that boring as hell. As far as living there is concerned no way. You could not pay me to live in the nanny state of Australia

Did you come in summer when the Fringe Festival is on or when the famous pop up night club The Ice Cream Factory goes up or when the Twilight International Food Markets are running on Friday nights? You are right that Perth is a little dull compared to other cities, but during summer it does come to life. Myself and many people I know love to travel to Bali, KL, Thailand and Singapore because of the amazing and super fun night life, restaurants and culture, all of which Perth lacks. Perth is a great place to live and work, but that gives us a really good reason to travel over seas to play and dine and have fun.
