Can we use this in daytime?

Can aldis lamp been used in daytime? From my experience when I test my aldis lamp the luminoucity of it doesn't seems to make it far during daylight.

Negative sir. Aldis is only useful at periods of darkness. If you want to signal, at day, the easiest one is the horn. In small boats, there are day light signalling mirrors provided for judicial use. But, normally it's the horn.❤️
