Animation takes lots of frames which is usually an artpiece in between several others- so it's quite time consuming but some companies try to seperate it into team projects amongst their coworkers to alleviate the time it takes to make it Others go towards other forms of animation like 3d, stop motion, or techniques like rotoscoping and stuff
