Hey loved the vid, just a quick tip for the cooking part. Slice the onion horizontally and vertically. You will get very fine chunks instead of long stripes (unless you are into that). And don't scrape the sharp side of the knife across the cutting board...it will get dull very quick.
@jonanddy

i think yellow onions should be diced most often than not and most of the time I feel like red onions are better to have "striped" unless you're making salsa. personally, i think their method was justified for the meal they were making

Hi Dan, the first developer I saw using Surface Pro. I was about to buy it for my software engineering major but worried about its performance and heat due to workload such as running multiple docker containers. How do you feel about using it when work with heavy workloads? Do you running WSL2 or Dual boot with Linux? Thanks :)
@fullstackDan
11 ай бұрын
hey there! I'm planning to create a video just for it, but I'm not a big fan of WSL2 for development as it just increases the memory usage. If I want to use Linux I dual boot as you mentioned. Other than that, I think the surface is great for students as you can also take notes, the surface pen is great. But if you need a really powerful device (gaming, rendering), the surface isn't the right choice)

I’m using Linux in a virtual machine, when I need to develop under linux, also on surface pro (sp) 6 or sp 9. One needs in general 16gb ram on surfaces, 8 gb works also but for lighter tasks.
Working as project manager for 3 years, but these days looking forward switching to frontend. PM tasks are interesting and i'm ok, but all communication makes me tired
Can you mention the setup you using including the devices for daily tasks and productivity tools which helpsyou to get work done fast
I was wondering what specs you have on your surface and how well does it handel all your tasks with external displays running ? Thank you for the video !
