I work in house as well and it's far less stressful than working private and less billable hours 😃 and pretty much come in whenever I want. I'm so jelly about the copius snacks y'all get we don't even get coffee but can't have it all I suppose.

why do companies nowadays use open floor office settings? I am a true introvert, highly sensitive to sounds/smells/motion/light; I feel horrible working in such spaces. Give me my 'old-fashioned' cubicle and I'll work harder and feel better at the end of the day as well.

exactly just like my day haha although i wake up at 5:30am so i get to work at 7:30am or at like 8-ish. Then leave at 5:30pm so I can catch a gym session/class at 6pm (pretty repetitive but what can we do yea?)

I really loved your video, it was so inspirational! I'm a high schooler interested in being a lawyer in NYC like you :) Do you have any tips to share with younger students? Also, does it matter where you go to law school, undergrad, etc?

  • @BrittanyTran

hmm, I'm planning to do a video about applying/getting into law school. I don't personally think it matters where you go to undergrad or law school as long as you are able to pass the bar exam and make connections. I do think it matters where you go in terms of location (if you want to practice in California, probably better to go to a california school). in addition, if you want to practice in a certain area of California it's probably better to go to school there.

This type of day seems so boring to me, idk how people can sit at a desk for hours on end and work. I prefer manual labor and always moving. Sure every now and then a job where I can sit down seems enticing but I could never actually keep it. Different strokes for different folks
